During the retreat, you will stay at the iconic Tamarindo Diria Resort, located in the heart of Tamarindo, a coastal town known for surfing, sunsets, and low-key beach vibes. The stunning property has a boutique vibe with lush grounds, four-star accommodations, and a friendly, welcoming staff.

There are three pools, including two with swim-up bars, a tennis court, and massage services. Plus, being right on the beach means you'll waste no time between a fresh and delicious breakfast and soaking up the morning sunshine. The best part? While the property is relaxing and peaceful, you are steps away from a safe local town with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops to explore - the perfect vacation balance with something for everyone!



Each day, Jenna will lead two classes to target the whole body with a focus on building a strong core. In the mornings, you will have a higher intensity class alternating between her signature 'rock the mat' cardio barre workout and a power Pilates class, both meant to get the heart rate up with minimal impact.

Around sunset, the second workout will be more restorative and core-focused, either a traditional Pilates mat class or a yoga-inspired stretching workshop. The class is appropriate for all levels!


When you're not rocking the mat, you will be experiencing different types of adventures in Costa Rica. One day you will visit a neighboring beach for stand-up paddle boarding, filled with fun and is a great core workout! Another morning you will depart for the mountains and zip line down for an adrenaline rush and the most amazing views! These activities are included, but optional if you choose to sit out and do your own thing.


Each day will balance activities with free time to relax, reflect, or go explore on your own or with others. The resort is right on the beach and also has a couple of pools (with a swim-up bar!) so free time is yours to cherish! Other ideas are to get a massage, sign up for an extra excursion, or visit the town for some shopping.

Jenna Muller
Jenna Muller is a born and bred New Yorker and a dancer at heart. She danced her first steps at the age of three and continued to dance throughout college at Hofstra University. After working in the corporate world for many years, she missed the daily mind-body connection dance offered. To reconnect, she became certified in Pilates and barre3, a 60-minute workout which fuses yoga, ballet, and Pilates. Today, fitness is an integral part of her daily life and she loves sharing her passion and knowledge with individuals of all ages and levels, with her own “Rock the Mat” workouts.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Liberia Airport (LIR). Transfer from and to the airport is included. Ketanga Fitness Retreats will pick you up from the airport.

  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 60 days before arrival.
