This retreat is aimed at those who want a weekend getaway hosted in luxury accommodation where you will gain a greater understanding of Patanjali's Eight Limbs of Yoga.
You will be staying at the gorgeous East on Byron, which is only a 15-minute walk from the center of town, 50 meters to Belongil beach, and provides the perfect location for your yoga experience. During your stay, you will stay in a twin share room in either a two bedroom luxury villa or the three-bedroom Belongil Penthouse. Your rooms will be an open plan with large private balconies. You will have the access to the Belongil Penthouse's private pool as well as the resort pool and heated spa.
This spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment is illuminated by sunlight and feature a large outdoor entertaining terrace plus a spectacular private roof-top observation deck. With entertainers delight, bring some friends or make it a girl’s weekend away! All Terrace villas can sleep four guests, although some include an additional sofa bed, allowing six guests to accommodate. Each apartment is individually furnished to a very high standard, offering a décor to suit any taste.

In this retreat, Kat Harding will support you to find your best pathway and how you can implement the practices of yoga in your daily routine without minimal effort. She will provide you with the opportunity to stop, to listen to what you need, and to find some space to make it happen in your life. All of those aiming to provoke thought, to open your mind, and to support you to find the answers that only you know you need.
Your physical and mental practice will be made up of fun, playful Vinyasa yoga, deep, juicy and slow Yin yoga and mindfulness, as well as meditation workshops, all created to give you a greater understanding of the practice of yoga and how it can fit into your life. You will also be treated to a special workshop run by the amazing Georgia, a qualified nutritionist, where you will cook your own dinner and be educated on how to support and nourish your body all of the time.
Hailing from Brisbane, Australia, Kat Harding is a qualified yoga and SUP yoga instructor with a passion for the outdoors and healthy living. Kat believes in moderation in everything she does. Through her yoga experiences, she has learned the importance of simply listening and feeling what your body, mind, and spirit is telling you. She credits many of her life learnings to following her intuition, perseverance, and working hard for what you love.
This retreat will take place in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia. It is known as a home of yoga and with its beautiful beaches, stunning walks, and the array of colorful characters that provides a perfect backdrop for a weekend of healthy living and movement. There will be optional walks along the beach, plenty of time for lazing on the beach, and swimming in the gorgeous water as well as exploring the local town so that you can get familiar with the beautiful location that is Byron Bay.
You will be treated to delicious, healthy, and seasonal meals from the beginning of this retreat until breakfast on the final morning of our retreat. Meals will be sourced and created locally with the help of Georgia, a qualified nutritionist who will share her knowledge on how you can eat for health and support your body through the yin and the yang and the changing seasons.
On your arrival night, you will get the chance to cook a meal as a group with Georgia's guidance and support and will take home recipes that you can make at home. All dietary requirements will be catered for as part of this retreat.
This holiday provides a free time that you can use to explore the local town, book a surf lesson with Soul Surf Byron Bay, go for a long light house walk at dawn before the yoga class, or book in a dolphin kayak to see the Byron Bay locals (dolphins that is). You can also learn to love your body inside out and have a personal one on one nutritional consultation with Georgia where you will work through all body systems, assessing your health and possible nutrient deficiencies, and leave with your very own prescription personalized to your body's needs.
