Kashish Yoga has three spacious yoga hall for classes, as well as individual practices. There is a lounge area, dining area, Wi-Fi connection, and a small library to expand your mind. The school is fenced all around and has security features for your complete safety. The center facilities include 20 bamboo huts that can accommodate up to 50 participants, elegant rooms with attached western toilets and hot and cold water, laundry service, office space, yoga hall fully equipped with yoga mats, props, music system, speaker, and LCD projector, open-sided dining area, small library, and spa room. The room facilities include blanket, towels, and mosquito net, comfortable mattress and pillow, weekly housekeeping (or as per request), and bathroom with western toilet.

Upon completion of this yoga teacher training, students will receive certificate affiliated with Kashish Yoga. Registration with Kashish Yoga meets identified standard set by the organization.

Course theme

A mentor stays true to his purpose and sets you to walk the road of self-discovery; the walking one must do at their own will and strength. The time that it shall take to cover the road is not known to any, all that is required is an ‘intention’.

This 300-hour teacher training at Kashish Yoga focuses on the deeper and almost lost the meaning of yoga, it involves you in the study of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, yoga psychology, the science of breath and thought, and understanding anatomy and bodily functions in relation to traditional and modern yoga practices.

You will delve in the spiritual anatomy of the systems, physic meditations, tantra, ayurveda, and knowing the work of prana in each yogic posture that you practice through the course.

The course is a careful compilation of practices from some of the oldest purist schools of yoga. It took Kashish Yoga a great deal of thought forming the 300-hour teacher training course. The team selected chapters from massive information and techniques available by the sutras, yoga, and tantra to create a course that helps you question better, practice efficiently, and evoke within you a researcher of this experiential science.

Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500 (Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga)
Akhilesh is an E-RYT 500-hours yoga instructor with a decade of yoga teaching experience in the styles of Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga. In his classes, he loves to combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness, and a bit of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. The basis of his teaching philosophy is if you can breathe, you can benefit from yoga. The base of his classes is a focus on breath and alignment while leading students through a series of asanas. The sequence and intensity of the class vary in accordance with students’ experience and energy.
Geetika Sharma
A practitioner and teacher of yoga, Geetika’s initiation into the discipline happened at the age of ten through her grandmother. The freedom of expression in art led Geetika to complete her degree in fine arts. After a career in advertising a Waldorf education, Geetika started her yogic study in 2011. She delved into various schools of spirituality and yogic thought in her search for healing. On a quest for deeper spiritual understanding, she met her guru Swami Niranjananada Saraswati in 2011. This experience deepened her awareness, to encompass the yogic process of evolving.
Adriana’s approach to the asana technique is focusing on the architecture of the pose encouraging the student to find the precision of the alignment within the expression of their own body. Also, she embraces the multi-dimensional and evolutionary aspect of yoga, incorporating it in all aspects of her life, from practicing and teaching to her everyday interactions with others. She has had an extensive yoga education with teachers coming from both traditional and experimental approaches: Eileen Gauthier, Rolf Naujokat, Ian Lewis, Duncan Wong and The Yoga People.
Laura attended regular classes and developed her personal practice. However, the desire grew more and more and she wanted to connect with yoga on a spiritual level. Thus, she took her first major step and completed a YTTC at Anusara Teacher Training in the UK. The journey continued as she traveled to India and dived deep to study traditional Hatha yoga. She completed an intensive teacher training course while experiencing ashram life. Her love of yoga has led her on a long journey of teaching over the past nine years.
Susan is an 850 hours multi-style certified yoga instructor from Sydney, Australia. Yoga has become her lifeline such that being on the mat now gives her immense peace and contentment beyond all her other passions. She has tasted the many different approaches to yoga, stayed in ashrams on the Ganga, and shut herself off from the outside world on silent vipassana retreats. While she has a natural affinity for the creativity and mindful movement of Vinyasa and the quiet acceptance of Yin, Susan has finally found her wings with Aerial yoga. Be prepared to fly with her!
Susheel started walking on his yoga path more than 12 years ago. After an initial few classes, he delved deeper into traditional Hatha yoga courses at the School of Yoga (Hyderabad University) and later got himself certified by the Yoga Alliance in Vinyasa style. Ever since then, he has always been thrilled to experience new dimensions of yoga. He has taken up the mission to impart this venerable yogic lifestyle to the people who wish to adapt a healthy and conscious living. He teaches Hatha, vinyasa style of yoga along with meditation and yoga philosophy.
Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Yoga)
Arushi is a 200-hours Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher. She was born and brought up in Rishikesh so he started yoga at very young age. She started his journey from an ashram in Rishikesh, where she got introduced to a yogic way of living and the reality of yoga. Since then, it has become a very important part of his life. Her area of expertise includes asana alignment, meditation/pranayama, mantra chanting, Shatkarma, asana classes (Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha, and Vinyasa flow) and yogic anatomy.
Ashok Kumar
He is a full-time traveling yoga teacher who has been practicing yoga from childhood by the grace of divine he was born in a family who were already engaged in spiritual practice and this is how yoga came naturally to him. Ashok is certified by Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) & Quantity council of India by Governmental body of India & RYT500 (E-RYT 200). For him, yoga is an art of tuning our mind, our energy, an inner sound of our existence with divine energy.
Gaurav did his YIC "Yoga Instructor Certification” and a MSc (Yoga) degree with A+ grading from SVYASA University, Bangalore. In his MSc therapeutic fieldwork, he worked with patients with Diabetes, Asthma, High BP, Back and knee pain, etc. He is a guest lecturer for MSc (yoga) distance degree. He is imparting yoga education since 2010, worked with Artistic Yoga and Siemens technology, Bangalore (June 2015 - June 2017) as yoga teacher/therapist for employees. Gaurav has conducted sessions for the Indian Embassy (Colombo, Sri Lanka), various Corporates, like Siemens, Reliance Mutual, and etc.
Katharina is a 500 E-RYT yoga teacher, PG Diploma in Human Consciousness and Yogic Science, and she holds a classic massage certificate. Her experience in yoga includes 10 years of yoga and meditation practice, 8 years teaching experience, 4 years in TTC Worldwide including China, Russia, India, and Maldives. Her expertise is in asana clinic, Philosophy, yoga anatomy, Shatkriya, meditation/pranayama, and also Reiki master. Her Asana styles include Vinyasa krama, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Restorative, and yoga therapy.

Retreat location

This yoga teacher training will take place in Patnem, Canacona, South Goa, India. It is a land of white sands, bright sun, sparkling waters, and wavering palm trees. The most beautiful state of India offers a perfect environment for yoga practitioners.

Tropical weather and multicultural atmosphere have attracted travelers from all around the world to this pearl bounded by the Arabian Sea in Western India. Goa was originally a Portuguese colony before 1961. You can still feel some of the Portuguese architectural heritage and some Portuguese influence in Goan cuisine.

The venue will be located far from distractions and noise, but not far enough for you not to enjoy a beautiful swim and soak up the sun. The beach is a about 12-15 mins cycling distance away. Bicycles will be provided free of cost to you.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Goa International Airport (GOI). Transfer from the airport is included. Kashish Yoga will pick you up from the airport.

Arrival by bus

The Canacona bus stand is 15 minutes away from the school. Buses from Mumbai and Bangalore are available for Canacona.

Arrival by train

You can also reach Patnem by train. The nearest station is in Canacona, although main train services stop at Margao station, which is approximately one hour away.
