About the training

Discover what it takes to be an inspiring yoga teacher and get completely equipped to become a professional. You will practice asanas, discover the philosophy of yoga, and learn the teaching methodology. Aerial Yoga or Fly yoga helps you to achieve a total-body workout while being suspended from a hammock that is about two to three feet off the ground. In Aerial yoga, this hammock which is made of fabric acts like a swing, allowing flexibility and easy movement. It is used to change your dynamic relationship with the ground, allowing you to understand your body better.

Aerial yoga or swing yoga as many call it encompasses major health benefits by providing a workout that allows one to stretch and strengthen the body, without overstressing the joints or compressing the vertebrae. It is especially recommended for people suffering from back issues, as the hammock acts as a support system. You can try all the yoga poses suspended in the air and the fun of doing asanas in the air is unmatchable. According to experts, some of the benefits of Aerial yoga are:

Yin yoga teaches you to relax your body deeply, calm your emotions, and stimulate the vital energy of the meridians (similar to Nadi) and organs while inducing deep and intense stretching. Supports such as cushions, balls, and tiles are used to allow the body to enter deeply into the asanas thus letting the energy flow and remove the emotional blocks that lead to physical blocks. The purpose of Yin yoga is to relax the muscles and stimulate the connective tissue by applying optimal tension for a while whilst maintaining a deep breathing pattern.

Keeping in mind the nutritional values and following the guidelines of Ayurvedic science, they have prepared a wide spread of saatvik and rajasik food which satisfies not only the taste of tongue but also the soul and mind.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Goa International Airport (Dabolim Airport) (GOI). Transfer from the airport is included. Kashish Yoga will pick you up from the airport on a shuttle service basis on the day of the beginning of the course. It runs three times on that day - 08:00, 12:00, and 16:00. Students arriving on any other date or time may request a special pickup service chargeable at 35 EUR.

Arrival by bus

Several buses from Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore are available to Madgaon. From Madgoan, take a bus to Canacona. From the Canacona bus station, it will cost you around 150 INR in an auto-rickshaw to reach the campus.

Arrival by train

The nearest station is Canacona, although most trains stop at the Madgaon station, which is approximately one hour away. It will cost you 2200 INR to arrive at the campus via taxi. You can also take a bus from the Madgoan bus station, which is quite near to the Madgaon train station.
