You will be accommodated in Casa Violeta. It is a chic and tranquil boutique hotel, located on the stunning white sand shores of Tulum, Mexico. In this majestic setting, the staff puts love and care into every detail, so that you will find complete relaxation and rejuvenation, connecting to the home within yourself.

During this retreat, you will enjoy evening restorative yoga lessons, a soundbath and vibrational sound healing experience, and tours to Tulum's mystical secret water spots and majestic ruins. The mornings will involve fitness training at the famous Tulum Jungle Gym, an amazing gym directly on the beach.

Tulum Jungle Gym

Tulum Jungle Gym is a one of a kind outdoor eco gym using natural materials that Fred Flintstone would have worked out on. Training with nature in nature,the concept was born from a dis-satisfaction with the fitness industry where gym goers are faced with staring at a brick wall counting down a clock until they've reached their calorie goal, very inspiring.

It was created to put the fun back into fitness, training barefoot outdoors in the sun pushing logs, lifting rocks, throwing coconuts, hanging, jumping, climbing, and moving the body in the variety of ways in the way it was designed.

Although the gym is 90% natural materials, they do still have some of the more functional traditional gym equipment. Olympic and EZ bars with bumper plates, medicine balls, kettle bells, TRX's, boxing bag and Bulgarian bags for example. It appeals to calisthenics, gymnastics, bodybuilders, weight lifters, and anyone that is into fitness, it's a workout for the body, mind and soul.

Instructors

Alia Mai
(Yoga)
Alia Mai is a yoga teacher with a master's degree in social work and mental health, as well as a nutrition certification. She has been practicing and studying yoga for 12 years, in pursuit of ways to live healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives. Her studies took her on a journey to her mother-land, India, where she lived and studied with her yoga and meditation teacher in 2009. Alia is passionate about yoga and meditation to gain both mental and physical strength and to overcome stress and anxiety.
Katie Davis
Katie has a black belt in kickboxing and has been working as a women's coach for over a decade. Her endurance journey peaked when she completed a number of ironman competitions, which is when she transitioned to bodybuilding and powerlifting. She has been working as a fitness instructor in Tulum for the last two years focusing on functional, strength, conditioning, cardio, weighted and endurance based training methods for both herself and her clients. She is also the head trainer for a number of fitness retreats around the world as well as provides online coaching and travels.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
