Located within the stunning Greek island of Corfu, a break at Just Relax allows you to reconnect your senses and find space within your surroundings. Their experienced and inspiring yoga teachers will challenge your mind and body, encouraging you to enhance your overall wellbeing through daily practice of yoga techniques. In addition to this yoga retreat, a holiday at Just Relax will also offer warm sunshine, a traditional Corfiot sea facing villa, picturesque beaches and delicious Greek food.

No rules or regulations

At Just Relax, the yoga holidays have no rules or regulations. They encourage the guests to take the time to enjoy their well-earned break, as well as practice yoga in twice daily sessions (morning and evening). Additional activities are also made available to guests, allowing you to shape your yoga retreat into the holiday of a lifetime.

The beautiful traditional Corfiot villa is located just a stones throw away from Almyros beach and offers breath-taking views of the Albanian coast. Substantial gardens located at the front and rear of the Just Relax villa are blooming with trees and tropical flowers, creating a beautiful environment for our guests to relax and unwind.

Within the villa we offer 5 size-able bedrooms, each with a picturesque balcony offering panoramic mountain or sea views, as well as a large attic room. The location can welcome a maximum of 14 guests per week to the retreat, ensuring an intimate experience for all guests.

The villa has been decorated in a traditional Greek Ionian theme, with comfortable beds designed to give you restful sleep throughout your stay. Some bedrooms benefit from en-suite bathrooms, while others share an adjacent bathroom with the neighboring room.

Just Relax Yoga Holidays Retreat Program

Yoga holidays run Saturday to Saturday with yoga beginning on the Sunday morning. For your first night in Corfu, Just Relax Yoga Holidays will organize a welcome dinner at the villa. Thursday will be your free day, the opportunity for you to explore the Island of Corfu. Friday night, your last night, we will share our last moments together around a dinner at the villa.

Schedule (depends on the month and the teacher)

  • 11:30 Healthy brunch (Greek buffet)

  • 17:30 Evening yoga session

Please note that during summer time, morning yoga session would be at around 07:00 and the evening session would be at around 19:30.

Included excursions

On Tuesday in the afternoon, around 16:30 to 17:30, if the weather is good, a bus is going to take you to Cape Drastis where a boat will bring you to a peninsula for a unique yoga session. Then we will bring you to 7th Heaven café bar for an amazing sunset. Please note if the weather is not good for the boat trip on Tuesday, we will try to manage and reschedule it to the following days.

Yoga London (Iyengar Yoga)
Kelly likes to add a sparkle of fun to her classes so expect to laugh as you challenge yourself. Her intuitive energy gives students the space to relax from their hectic lives, Kelly infuses her love of Iyengar and the creativity of Vinyasa flow to bring you classes with an emphasis on proper use of alignment, to give you an environment to practice at the best of your ability whilst listening to your body.
Sarah Norton
Sarah's Hatha classes are a mix of deep restoring stretches, energetic flows, and long holds to get the body moving and make the core strong. She enjoys laughter in her classes, and encourages everyone to make a fool of themselves at least once a day.

Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Vinyasa Yoga)
Her classes give particular attention to alignment, breath and the fluidity of movement, offering a non-dogmatic, non-judgmental space to practice and grow. Youla's teaching approach is challenging yet compassionate, making complex poses accessible to everyone, even beginners.

Eliza has developed a strong, honest style of Hatha yoga that is proving to be popular with students that she teaches. The classes are fun and non-competitive; a welcoming environment that will make you feel supported and open to practice to the best of your ability, ensuring you can experience the most that yoga can offer.

Zara's classes are a dynamic flow with a nod to the Ashtanga Primary Series. Her sessions can be strong but are well paced with options offered for beginners and more experienced yogis who are looking to challenge themselves.
Julee Yew-Crijns
Julee's classes are playful, dynamic and flowing, sequenced to take you into a different peak pose each time. Jocie's classes are focused on mindfulness and encourage relaxation in good measure - but also have a dynamic, energetic flow and always include the opportunity to dive deeper into poses to improve strength and flexibility over time. A highly-respected international contemporary dancer and teacher, Kajza performed with leading dance companies and taught extensively throughout Europe and North and Central America. As BoxingYoga Co-Founder, Kajza brought her lifelong knowledge and experience to the BoxingYoga development table and was pivotal in developing the training system as we know it today.
Katy Bateman
Katy's inspirres her practice and classes to be playful and dynamic, while being mindful of alignment in each asana. Students are encouraged to celebrate their limitations as much as their successes, and often work in groups or pairs to explore different poses.

Retreat location

In addition to its picturesque setting, relaxed way of life and delectable food, the Greek island of Corfu is also steeped in cultural history. The origins of Corfu can be traced back as far as Greek Mythology. The islands Greek name, Kerkyra is related to two powerful water symbols: Poseidon, God of the sea, and Asopos, a prominent Greek river.

According to myth, the God of the sea Poseidon fell in love with the beautiful nymph Korkyra and took her to this stunning but unnamed island. In marital bliss, Poseidon named the island Korkyra after his wife. This name gradually evolved throughout time to the Greek name of Kerkyra, which the island retains to this day.

In addition to Greek mythology, the island's history is also full of battles and conquests. With castles enclosing the islands capital Corfu Town, it has been officially declared a Kastropolis, or castle city by the Greek government.

A picturesque landscape

With its rich, mountainous landscape, Corfu offers a beautiful view to its visitors. The Northern area of the island has preserved its natural and architectural environment, making it popular with visitors and locals alike.

Dominated by mountains, the island has a never ending expanse of rolling hills and blossoming trees, bursting with lush vegetation. Coastal areas offer tranquil white sandy beaches, while the shimmering blue sea provides a perfect backdrop to the green Corfiot countryside.

The guests will receive daily light breakfast and lunch, also two dinners during the week. For the first night in Corfu, Just Relax will organize at the villa a welcome dinner. For breakfast you are invited to help yourself to fruit, tea, coffee, cereals bars, and nuts.

Lunch will not be served on the day off.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

You can book your flight directly to Corfu International Airport (CFU). From the airport you can reach the retreat location by local taxis.

Arrival by ferry

You can get to Corfus New Port by direct ferry links to/from Venice, Ancona, Bari, Brindisi (Italy), Himara and Saranda (Albania) or Igoumenitsa, Patra (Greece). Outside the port there is a parking lot with rental cars and taxis, and beyond that a public bus station.

  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
