Julie teaches each a variety of yoga styles, but her main focus is on Hatha yoga, a practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (yoga breathing exercises) which helps bring peace to the mind and body, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation. Hatha yoga helps to develop fitness, balance, co-ordination, a sense of self-awareness, and a deeper peace of mind.

Enjoy a variety of organically grown salads and vegetables, homemade soups, and fresh baked goods. All of their vegetables and most of their fruit are grown in the surrounding gardens, and prepared on site by talented young chefs, many who have been trained hands-on by international chefs.
Not only is the food the freshest in Rishikesh, but the café plays a large role in supporting Ramana’s Garden Children’s Home with 100% of the profits, while allowing them to work for tips to fund their college education and gain necessary skills for future employment and life.
The salads, picked from the garden in the morning and hand washed with filtered water and apple cider, can be enjoyed with a mix of greens depending on the crop (lettuce, kale, arugula, spinach, and oak) topped with shredded carrots, beetroot, mong sprouts, sesame seeds, and wild chestnuts.
The soups include vegan beet root, kale, pumpkin, and a few surprises. Their specialties, handmade with organic ingredients, include the best Mexican enchiladas, savory Tibetan momos, many homemade pastas, vegetable lasagna, spinach gnocchi, and cannelloni.
There is also the eggplant moussaka or gluten free and vegan Indian special, served with a bed of brown rice, topped with home-grown steamed vegetables, and a bowl of the dhal of the day. Enjoy a refreshing kale, pear, or apple smoothie with your meal on a warm day on the sun deck or a ginger honey tea by the fire when there is a chill in the air.
