Accommodation is a short walk away from Lushoto town and is a wonderful place for people to get together. There is a bar area, restaurant, and various chill-out areas where you can play the piano, darts, or other games they have available for you. You can always grab a book and curl up by the fire if you'd prefer some time to yourself.

Beautiful grounds with endemic plants and trees boast incredible views where you can absorb the towering mountains during the daytime or relax on a blanket looking up at the starry sky at night.

With free sauna use and the additional options for massages and other treatments, you can really offer yourself some self-care and have a spa day if this is something that appeals to you. A massage might be a great way to unwind after yoga and hikes in the area.

There are various options for accommodation to suit your needs; from singles, twins, doubles, triples, and shared room options. If what you desire is not listed, please feel free to get in touch and we will do our best to create an option that works for you. Standard and deluxe rooms all have their own verandas with beautiful views of the surroundings and some even have their very own fireplaces.

  • Early morning yoga.
  • Hike to view point and waterfalls in Soni which may include yoga or yoga could take place afterwards.

Day 4

  • Yoga morning and afternoon.
  • Free day with suggested use of spa facilities to unwind.

Day 5

  • Yoga morning and afternoon.
  • Hike to Lushoto waterfalls with packed lunch at base.

Day 6

  • Yoga morning and afternoon.
  • Environmentally conscious art workshop with an artist from the area.

Day 7

  • Morning yoga.
  • Hike in the forest where you'll learn about natural herbs and medicine.
  • Reach the viewpoint for sunset yoga and closing ceremony.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Fly from Zanzibar to Tanga and then either hire a taxi to take you to Lushoto or you can get a bus from Tanga to Lushoto (around 4hrs). Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) is around 5hrs away from Lushoto.

Arrival by bus

There are many buses leaving from Arusha or Moshi towards Tanga/Dar which pass by the Kilimanjaro Airport. You can get off in Mombo and either take your own transport to Lushoto, get a bus or we can offer a pick up. There are also direct buses to Lushoto from Arusha/Moshi.

Arrival by taxi

  • Please get in touch about taxis from Arusha, Moshi and the airport. There may be the option to share a taxi with others joining the retreat.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
