"I had a great vacation at the jewel resort. The pools are clean, the service was very courteous and helpful and I really enjoyed my time there. "

"Also, I found the gift shop to be very nice with a great selection and prices. "

"The resort offers some nice activities outside of the resort. However, like all the other resorts in Jamaica these activities are ridiculously overpriced. "

"We decided on Jewel Paradise Cove because it was an all inclusive and I am so happy that we chose this resort. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Our room was on the ocean side and we loved hearing the ocean all night. We liked that there were two beaches. One was smaller and had more shade which we liked. The Caribbean Sea was so beautiful. The food was good. We liked the buffet for breakfast and lunch but preferred the restaurants for dinner. The Italian one was great! I liked that it was smaller than the large resorts that we drove by on the way from the airport to our resort. It was only three stories high and it was different buildings. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They explained what excursions to take and suggested drinks and food to try. Our room was always clean and the bathroom was great! This was an adult only resort."

"Got married here in May. The wedding team were amazing & I couldn't of asked for a nicer team, whatever i wanted they would accommodate for my needs. I would highly recommend this resort to get married especially the private beach. Downside was the Rubbish photo album so I've had to pay to have that redone at home in England, the photo shop are very overpriced & I'm very surprised how they even make money but this didn't put me off as I made all my family & friends take as many pictures on the day as possible. Staff all very friendly however felt because we weren't American & not tipping we wouldn't always get serve the fastest on the pool bar so a little disappointed with this."

"This place is awesome to stay at. My husband and I just spent a week there for our honeymoon. The food is pretty good especially at the Coral Cafe. Lots to do and lots to see. The staff at the resort are amazing to. So friendly and helpful. The guys at the bars are fun and keep the drinks coming. The staff cater to you which is awkward at first but they seem to enjoy it. We definitely plan on going back and we most definitely recommend this resort."

"We had a great time at the resort for Girls Vacation. First time to Jamaica."

"The resort is small and wonderful. The staff are the nicest people I have ever met and take very good care of you. Loved the pools and beaches. Loved that many things were included with the stay, like airport transportation, trips to waterfall, shopping, glass bottom boat ride, sail boat ride. My only issues (which are very small) are that my bed was a little worn and leaned to the left and that since we did not have concierge service for our room we did not have any alcohol in our room and would have had to pay for room service. This was not mentioned anywhere when we booked our room. Again, still had a wonderful time but would have liked to have known that. Also had some issues with wifi in our room."

"Rooms were nice- lovely big walk-in shower--but the water features made this amazing: 3 big pools, each with a swim-up bar, multiple sitting ledges and tables, and an adjacent hot tub. The water slide drew me like a magnet, though! I loved it, and the hot tub above the main pool, with the glass bottom (!) on the way to the slide...."

"The beach is okay-- but the pools won my heart forever."

"The bar staff couldn't have been better--attentive and inventive...in fact, all the staff were top-notch. The buffet restaurant was good with some really yummy desserts...but the pizzeria and Italian restaurant disappointed...but hey- it's Jamaica--have another Dirty Banana and get in the pool!"

"The Jewel Paradise Cove is a relatively compact, well-laid out all-inclusive resort with a lot of water (many pools and spas, and two compact beaches). Everything is easily accessible, though there are usually many routes to get to the same place. Surprises pop up all the time. The food is really good, the bars obliging to do almost anything, and there is something open 24-7."

"Great resort with the friendliest & most attentive staff imaginable. The food, drinks, grounds, restaurants, accommodations were excellent. Each & every member of the staff was super friendly and helpful, from the front desk, to the wait staff, bartenders and even the groundskeepers. The beach is a bit small & if you like to walk for miles on the beach, this won't be the place you would go to. In all other respects, it's an excellent resort!"

" My wife and I went to the Jewel Paradise Cove for our one year anniversary and this place exceeded every expectation I had. Not only was the resort and view amazing but the staff was the friendliest of any place I have been. We had an ocean front suite with the butler service and it was unforgettable! Our butler Giphson was the best and really went out of his way for us the entire trip, he deserves recognition as he did a superb job and surprised us with food on more that one occasion, such as breakfast in bed and dinner as well one night. Sherill and Orlando were also our butlers and had numerous surprises as well and did a fantastic job and went out of there way for us without us ever asking.Neil who provided beach service was great as well! The room was gorgeous and very spacious and the bar/fridge was stocked daily with everything we asked for. The resort is laid out very conveniently and had plenty of excellent food-which i wasn't expecting it to be so good being an all inclusive as we have had bad experiences in the past but it was great! Sean at the Jade Samurai restaurant was very talented and friendly, he did an excellent job and that food was superb. The really isn't anything negative i can say about the resort besides some might think the beach is smaller than you might expect but in reality you lay in a chair all day anyways and the swimming area was plenty big and the sunset and view was amazing. The smaller beach and resort size made it very convenient to get from place to place in an instant which makes you enjoy the different attractions more that a large resort."

" I have just returned from a week's vacation at this resort and was glad to walk away having enjoyed my experience. The resort offers lots of activities and has the benefit of several dining options, which stops you getting bored of The Buffet. We found virtually all the staff to be friendly and very capable in their work. This is Jamaica and rewarding/tipping does put an extra smile on their faces and a little more rum in the cocktail, but we were happy to do it. The resort does not make a habit of trying to "sell" you anything once you've arrived - you can buy from a wine list for dinner but they don't push that, in fact mostly forget to offer it to you, unless you ask.A few things they could improve: the safety around the watersports management from where they are based, they cannot see a lot of the clients who might be struggling with paddle boards, windsurfing or kayaking... Each time someone needed to be rescued it seemed that a client had made the team aware there was a problem, or if a security guard happened to be stood near the italian restaurant and could see."

" We just got back from Jewel Paradise Cove, April 25th. We had a great time! The ride from the airport was a bit long, but it was our first time to Jamaica and we enjoyed the scenery on the drive. Easy check-in and room was ready when we arrived. Our California friends were already there, and being with them for the trip made it even more special. The dining was good but not exceptional, there were choices but not enough variety, the best meal was the management welcome dinner on the patio. The jerk chicken at the late night aquamarine grill was also delicious. We also liked the pizza. We spent four days scuba diving and we must say that Eric the Dive Master, Robert the Boat Master and the rest of the crew were fantastic. Also would like to add that the bartenders and the rest of the staff are very attentive and wonderful. Special thanks to Kerisha, Gary and Kavin. "

" This was my very first all-inclusive international vacation. We got an amazing price for both the flight and resort through TripAdvisor. My sister and I who live on seperate coasts booked this vacation together with our husbands and the resort had no problem making sure we had a room next to each other. We traveled to Jamaica over Thanksgiving Holiday and unfortunately our weather wasn't great, I think we may have got one and a half actal days of warm sun. While the weather was certainly not the fault of the resort it did effect our ability to take advantage of the excursions that the resort offered. In fact no water activities of any kind were offered the whole week we were there. This was clearly for our safety, there were no boats in the water from any of the neighboring resorts either. The food and variety was really good (at first), we ate at all of the restuarants the resort had to offer, we drank at every bar and got to know the staff rather well over the course of a rainy week. However I must admit by the end of the week my husband and I both just felt weighed down by the food we consumed I think probably due to the large amount of butter used in a great deal of the food offered. The Japanese restuarant was an awesome experience, the pizza oven / italian restuarant was our favorite! We had an ocean front room that overlooked the all-night pool and the views were awesome even from inside the shower you had a stunning view of the ocean! The room was awesome, the only issue we had was that when taking a shower the water leaked onto the floor and kind of flooded the floor below. After having this happen we just threw towels down as room service came daily with new towels. There was a safe for our valuables and a a mini fridge stocked daily with soda water and if you ask really nicely they will even stock you with some red label. The grounds were kept really clean, I saw a manager going through the property with the white glove inspection. There were also daily activities, my sister won the goat race, it was a lot of fun. The shows were good. The staff were mostly awesome but I must give a shot out to Tootie; she was so much fun, it was like having a friend in Jamaica. Her energy is amazing and she really kept us entertained. While I only think we got to lay out on the beach twice, there were plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas and tables. The beach on this resort is small, it is more like a little private cove. If you're into taking long walks on the beach this would not be for you. Overall we had a good time, unfortunately the weather did impeed my take away experience as a whole. My recomendation to others would be to try to take advantage of as many off the property excursions as you can afford if you are staying for a whole week to break it up a little. "

" Pretty perfect vacation with only a few minor down points. They gave us a no charge upgraded ocean view room because our room was not ready when we got there. Food was excellent and had a great selection. We ate at the pizza, Italian, buffet and Japanese restaurants. Staff was mostly very nice and helpful. In April there was very few insects. Beach and ocean is sand and not rocks like I read in someones review. No sandals or shoes needed in the water. The included tours and events were very nice glass bottom boat ride, snorkeling trip, sunset cruise, catamaran ride. The pool tables are cheap so do not expect a real game of pool. Ping pong was fine. Room service was fine as was the juice bar even though they ran out of fruit punch. The only glitch was the concierge desk and attractions desk occasionally had people staffing them that were blatentantly less than helpful. Short terse words that made you try to dig for more information. Was not just us.We saw one guy just walk away after trying to get info. Also beware that the attractions desk will try to upsell you a little with specials. Also the documentation for the non included tours is sparse and hard to understand. chukka tours works with this resort but I think that PC does not offer all the tours available from chukka probably only the ones they make the money on. It probably is better to try to go through chukka directly. It did not appear that Dunns River Falls was included as a free tour even though it is listed as such on the website. However Konoko Falls was free and a definite to-do for a half day excursion! We also did the zip line at mystic mountain and that was decent. "

Lenonsworth and the fantastic 4 for my great snorkeling experiences!! Tasharee and Shantele who served our tea and coffee daily and were so very kind and our maid Audia. This is a smaller property but big on service. Had a great birthday, thanks to all of you!! "

" We just got back from Jewel Paradise Cove yesterday, April 21st. We had a great time! The ride from the airport was a bit long, but it was my first time to Jamaica and I enjoyed the scenery on the drive. The "seated check-in" made for a relaxing arrival to the resort and rest of the trip remained just as relaxing thanks to the great staff, convenient food options, and the many included water sports. My favorite dining option was actually the pizza place for lunch where the pizza was surprisingly good and the ocean views were amazing. The jerk chicken at the late night aquamarine grill was also delicious. The beach was on the smaller size, but never crowded, and I preferred the small more enclosed setting of the cove as it made for easier swimming and not as rough waters when we tried the stand up paddle boards. There also is a smaller more secluded beach near the aquamarine grill, but we never spent time there. We did the sunset cruise our last night in Jamaica, and it was a great way to get a little glimpse of the nearby coast. "

" Just returned April17th from two weeks at this resort. Plenty of good points and a few minor bad points. I have been to over 40 all inclusive resorts so I consider myself knowledgeable. About a 70 minute bus ride to the hotel. Check in fast and easy all though it took us 90 minutes to get thru customs. Staff are amazing here and make your vacation enjoyable. We ate at the alacarts every night and the food was great as was the service and presentation. yon have steak or lamb at the Platinum, Italian has the obvious or make reservations for the Japanese.Buffet for breakfast was the usual fare. Egg and smoothie station etc. Lunch can be had at the Italian, buffet or the pool grill. All very good and flavourful. Jerk chicken and burgers or pizza can be had. We had a good room with a jacuzzi tub which was nice. Some of the staff that went out of their way were Dwaine, Carlisle, Patrick and Tamique at the main bar and Paulo and Lanae at the restaurants. Yes the beaches are small but you know that getting there. We went on the Konoco falls tour...every day from 9-1 for free which was very worth while. My wife went twice! We also did the glass bottom boat and snorkling for free. We didn't do the sunset cruise because watching it from the sunset bar was just as good. The not so good...no beer in you fridge, the beer at most of the bars wasn't cold and the service at the main swim up bar was hit and miss.Night time entertainment was okay but the day time activities were very few and far between. Dinner Friday nights on the pool deck where they serve you a 4 course meal is very good. Wednesday night is the beach party with good food then goat races. If you are a smoker you can only smoke in 3 designated smoking areas, no where else. Any questions please contact me for more details. Would I go back, probably. "

This hotel (adults only) looks after its wedding, anniversary and all couples of all ages amazingly well - the staff are friendly and always have time to chat. Excellent facilities, simple but all you need, hotel not too big which we found lovely as keeps its intimacy and you don't get lost among all the guests. Many US and Canadian travellers on overnight or short stop stays off cruises - few Brits mainly travelling with Virgin Holidays. Great choice of a la carte restaurants and amazing cocktails - all included!!! Tipping is recommended and the staff appreciate and do look after you (USD recommended) Jamaicans are friendly by nature so chill, grab a cocktail and relax. "
