This retreat will be hosted by Jessica Bellofatto and Nadia Bonenfant and it was designed to be an all-women yoga and adventure travel business. Together, Jessica and Nadia have developed a wonderful co-teaching approach to allow their guests to have fun, play with practice, and introspect on healthy, attainable living. Nestled in the heart of York, Maine, you will stay in one of the two beautiful private seaside accommodations. One home sits majestically above the ocean on the Nubble and features gorgeous upscale bedrooms and four bathrooms. The views from every room are a dream. On the first floor, the kitchen opens up to the living room and the ocean beyond.

The second home is located across the street from the beach. Newly renovated and with a large beautiful yard and firepit, this 330 square foot home has five bedrooms and three bathrooms and a brand new kitchen.

Whilst the end of summer is slowly rolling in, the pace of coastal life is tuning down to a beautiful, organic feel. September by the Atlantic Ocean is a wonderful time to surf, stand up paddleboard, and transition your yoga practice into fall.

Join Jessica and Nadia for this all women retreat as you dive deep into practice on and off the mats and on and off our boards. Wake up everyday and join the beach yoga class before jumping into one of the surf or stand up paddleboard yoga classes, and take time in the evening to relax, unwind, and participate in some really amazing goal setting and discussions around how to tap into you potential in creating a life you are in love with.

A perfect solo or with girlfriend getaway to get salty in the ocean, move freely on your mat and nourish your body before the transition of fall sets in. Fun, tears, and new connections guaranteed!

All surf, stand up paddle boarding exploration and yoga are open to all levels of experience. Both English and French are spoken at the retreat. All equipment is provided on site.

  • 06:30 - Optional 30-minute meditation at the beach
  • 07:00 - Beach yoga or in-house yoga to warm up our surfing muscles

Jessica Bellofatto
Jivamukti Yoga School (Jivamukti Yoga)
Jessica has been practicing yoga for 24 years. She started at the original Jivamukti Yoga Studio in East Village, New York. She completed her 500-hour training in 1997 at the Jivamukti Yoga School under the guidance of Sharon Gannon and David Life. She spent many hours studying the Anusara, Iyengar, and Ashtanga styles and is currently pursuing certification in Ashaya yoga, which sprouted from Anusara, with Todd Norian. Jessica is also a triathlete, an avid surfer, and the owner of KamaDeva Yoga.
Nadia Bonenfant
Nadia grew up sailing aboard the Junasika and has been in love with the ocean for as long as she can remember! A yoga, stand up paddle boarding, surf, and sea kayak instructor, her passion for teaching, communication, and outdoor adventures form the core of her approach. She has been teaching yoga since 2004 and stand up paddle boarding yoga for Wanderlust festival for four years. She is delighted to be able to share her water play and fluid sequencing in different destinations around the globe.

This retreat includes three daily healthy meals plus snacks and teas. Warm beverages for the duration of your stay. The private chef will be sure to feed your soul and body to keep you energized.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Bangor International Airport (BGR). You can also arrive at Northern Maine Regional Airport (PQI).

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.
  • The deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled before the arrival date.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
