During this retreat, you will be staying in a comfortable shared garden bure at Koro Sun Resort. The 51 bures are spacious, individually appointed dcor, and fully air-conditioned.
The garden bures are surrounded by lush tropical gardens with a white picket fenced veranda. These bures are spacious with one king bed, a bamboo canopy frame, air conditioned, palm wood furniture, and a complete shower with romantic stone. The bure includes a private walled courtyard in the back and is perfect for a couple.
The two bedroom bures are perfect for a family, two couples, or two singles sharing. Each bure has two king-size beds and living room appointed with tropical furnishings. Additionally there is a full sized day bed for lounging or for an extra person. The bathroom has an indoor tile shower and an outdoor stone shower. The bure has a screened porch sitting area looking over the gardens.
During this retreat, you will enjoy a coconut tree of life workshop, a Fijian cooking class, Stand-up-paddle and kayak excursions, a traditional Kava ceremony, a beach bonfire night, and many fun excursions.

The Koro Sun Resort is located where the rainforest meets the reef. The beautiful tropical setting lends itself to both water sports and land based activities with beaches nearby. The newly opened edge water beach club offers a sandy beach area right at the waters edge with access to both the ocean and the pool. Additionally, the waterfront has two day beds, perfect for lounging or taking an afternoon nap. This is not a long stretch of white sandy beach, however a great place to get in the water or relax. If you are feeling more adventurous, you can head out to the lagoon from the beach to see some of the beautiful soft corals. The location of Koro Sun offers two beaches perfect for private picnics within five minutes of the resort.
During this retreat you will be served three gourmet fresh meals daily with vegetarian options. Koro Sun has two restaurants for you to enjoy during your retreat. The Matakau Restaurant is the primary dining outlet within the central clubhouse of the resort. Matakau offers a fresh selection of locally sourced and regionally inspired cuisine. Breakfast starts with an array of fresh fruits, cereals, and warm bakery basket.
You can choose to have a hot breakfast made to order such as coconut battered French toast or a farm fresh eggs prepared to your liking. Your meals are prepared with the freshest ingredients from the organic gardens on the resort plantation with Pacific Rim style of cuisine offered throughout the restaurants. Lunch and dinner options include choice of entree, main, and desserts with meal selections for both vegetarians, vegans, and gluten allergies as well.
At Koro Sun Resort, the large majority of the fruits, vegetables, and root crops are grown and picked fresh from the resort gardens daily. This products are used daily by the chefs, who enjoy offering the finest in fresh organic foods. A selection of tropical fruits such as papayas, bananas, lemon, limes, passion fruit, coconuts, and breadfruit are available throughout the year. Avocados, pineapples, mangoes, and kavika (local pears) are seasonal fruits that can be found all-year round.
Koro Sun resort has many activities and excursions that you may enjoy for an additional cost during your free time from the nearby saltwater caves just a short kayak away to the stunning Vuodomo waterfall and village visit. Namena is a certified scuba diving operation located in the Koro Sun Resort marina with a fully equipped dive shop and incredible fleet of dive boats. The experienced staff will be able to provide introductory instruction, full open water, advanced open water, rescue diver, emergency first response, dive master, and specialty certifications.
You may ask at the front desk to take a look at the movie collection and enjoy them in one of the comfortable arm chairs. Take a look at the board games located in the cupboard within the lounge area and play a round of Monopoly or Risk. Books are also available and located together with the board games. Feel free to take them to the pool or to your room.
