This is a 6-day retreat with yoga and mindfulness techniques. With 2 yoga classes per day, Pranayama, meditation, and mindfulness techniques run by Jackie Albert and Janey Railton. Autumn is the perfect time to celebrate all that has happened over the year, a time to be grateful for yourself and all the fruits of your labor. It is also a time to return inwards, to replenish yourself and let go of the old, and to nurture the new for the coming year.
The stunning mountain retreat center has a dedicated yoga and meditation room. With amazing mountain views and walks from the center, this retreat is a perfect way to turn inward as the season changes and honor your body, mind, and soul.
Arrival will be on Tuesday, September 12 with a 16:00 welcome. This will be followed by an introduction ceremony, gentle yoga class, and dinner.
Each day will start with Pranayama, an awakening yoga practice, and meditation. After breakfast, there will be a mindfulness session, giving you the chance to try different mindfulness techniques. Some of these will be over lunch.
The afternoons will be free to either: relax in your own way, book a relaxing massage, Reiki or other treatments. You can also explore the area with a mountain walk, cleansing the body with fresh mountain air. In the early evening, there will be a gentle yoga class.
Jane qualified from the Northern School of Aromatherapy, Leeds in 2000 and has been a practicing aromatherapist for over 16 years. She has experience working in a variety of therapy subjects including Reiki, advanced hopi ear candling, and counselling. In 2015 Jane qualified in Dorn method, a specialist treatment to bring about balance and help with pain. Dorn method is relaxing and calming, it can help with joint and spinal alignment to relieve knee, hip, shoulder, neck pain, and alleviate muscular tension.
Jacqueline, originally from London, enjoys nature, practicing, and teaching yoga. She is a mindfulness professor, formed at Respira Vida Breathworks. She has been practicing various types of yoga for more than 20 years, including Hatha yoga, Iyengar yoga, Viniyoga, and more recently Scaravelli yoga. Jacqueline formed as a yoga teacher in 2013 at Bodhiyoga, a school that combines classical Hatha yoga practice with mindfulness practice.
This retreat will take place at Solterreno Retreat, a stunning mountain retreat center in located in south-east Spain, Alecante.
There’s vegan and vegetarian food provided. Each meal will be cleansing and detoxifying to help you clear away the outgrown and replenish for the newness, in the coming months.
