During this retreat, you will be staying at Shree Bindu Sewa Sansthan Ashram. Today, the ashram is home not only to Swami and his family, but also to a number of students between the age of eight and 20. They come from poor families who cannot afford their living or education and they thus become part of the ashram's family.
They live in the ashram, which means that their families are free of this financial pressure. Additionally, the students learn and grow in a positive, loving, and spiritual environment. They go to the Swami Balendu e.V. kindergarten and primary school right next to the building of the cave in the ashram.
The school and the kindergarten were opened to provide education to children of poor families of Vrindavan. You can help the ashram helping these children if you sponsor a child or the food for a day.
If you stick to the food plan and exercise presented in this retreat, you will see a result and have the knowledge and practical experience on how you can continue losing weight or maintain your dream figure. You don't have to endure weeks of torture and you will not get anywhere near starving. You will be in a beautiful place, enjoying the exercises and tasty food.
You will not have a grumbling, hungry stomach, and although you may feel a little bit of sore muscles, you will feel great about it. Instead of feeling weak, you will feel stronger than before. Losing weight fun with this yoga and Ayurveda weight loss retreat.
While you are at the ashram, you will start every day with a beautiful morning walk around the town. The ashram is directly situated at the Parikrama Marg, a popular pilgrimage way of approximately ten kilometers, which leads around the whole town.
Even if you now think that ten kilometers is far too much and you won't be able to do that for weeks, don't worry! You won't even notice that you are walking this distance while you are passing by Vrindavans' many different areas. Ancient temples and modern housing areas, the mansions of the rich and straw houses of the poor, crossing busy roads and walking by the river Yamuna - so much to see and to experience that you won't even have time to get exhausted!
You will daily get two hours of intensive yoga for weight loss, which will especially focus on all your problem areas. You want to reduce belly fat? Tone your thighs? Shape your hips or get slimmer upper arms? In these workout hours, you will get to know which exercises are a massive attack on your extra fat and which ones bring out the muscles exactly where you want to have them.
The best thing about yoga is that it is a fun, wholesome exercise, and you will enjoy feeling and seeing the effect of what you are doing!
Swami Balendu gave his first spiritual lectures at the age of nine. He traveled throughout India, giving lectures in front of many followers and disciples. Swami spent time a lot of time practicing maun (silence), sometimes retreated in a forest and sometimes in normal daily life. In 1996, Swami Balendu founded an ashram at Vrindavan. An underground cave was built there which he entered a year later. He spent the following three years and 108 days in isolation doing Mantra meditation and connecting with God.

Apart from exercising, the second focus when wanting to lose weight is always on nutrition. While many diets still recommend reducing the food intake to a minimum, it has even reached the mainstream dieter that it is better to change your nutrition completely than starving yourself for a few weeks until you are thin, and then enjoy your regular food and watch the yo-yo effect set in.
During this retreat, you will get daily healthy Ayurvedic meals prepared in the ashram kitchen, with the focus on using little to no fat and sugar. This means that you will get to experience an authentic Ayurvedic diet, which serves its original purpose to feed the body with everything it needs without overfeeding it. The best thing is, it tastes great!
Your are free to spend your free time as you please. You may wish to sit in the peace and tranquility of the ashram and enjoy the wonderful energy. You can also visit Swami Ji's cave, where he spent over three and half years in mantra meditation. You can experience a very high loving vibration and absorb its healing qualities. You might also like to visit some of Vrindavans many temples, other Indian ashrams, or local markets.
You will receive an Ayurvedic massage every second day of your stay with Jaisiyaram. This may seem to you just like a special treat and it definitely is nice to get massaged, especially after a good yoga workout. There is more benefit to get from it though.
With the help of herbs, the oil that is being used causes heat in the tissues of your skin and stimulates the burning of fat. Additionally, the massage helps cleaning the body. When you lose weight, toxins are set free and they leave the body through the skin. With the help of herbal oils and the rubbing massage, you are freed of these toxins. On top of that, you will also receive an Ayurvedic steam treatment after your massage, if your body type allows, to further support the burning of fat.

Pick-up and drop-off each cost 60 EUR, so for only 120 EUR Jaisiyaram will have you picked up when you arrive and dropped off when your retreat is completed.
