Pre-application requirements

This course is open to those who already hold a 200-hour certified yoga teacher designation.


Students who complete their training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

How the training works

This is a full-day teacher training program. The live sessions will be held daily from Monday to Friday. Students have a series of assignments to complete during each section including class observations, written assignments, and practicums.

Mind-body wisdom

Enter into the timelessness of mind-body wisdom, the art and science of yoga and Ayurveda. Together, Ayurveda and yoga endeavor to create balance for each unique individual, and by doing so, they can help to eliminate suffering and disharmony, allowing us to become unified, healthy, and empowered. This advanced holistic training takes you deeper into the authentic, holistic wisdom of the ancient teachings of yoga Ayurveda and meditation for our present time. Wisdom is the integration of knowledge through the practice and experience of life. As a certified yoga and Ayurveda instructor you will be able to:​​

  • Discover how to apply the principles of Ayurveda to the ancient eight-limbed science of Yoga.
  • Merge the philosophies that support yoga, Ayurveda, and meditation to incorporate and teach holistic practices in daily life.
  • Study the precepts of Ayurveda and learn how dosha specific asana, pranayama, concentration, meditation, mudra, kriyas, and mantra, can bring deep healing to the mind, emotions, and body
  • Lead yoga group classes based on the season, the person's Ayurvedic constitution, the elements and the stages of life
  • Create individualized and general yoga classes, one-on-one sessions and group workshops

The holistic approach

  • Learn to identify the dosha prakruti or the bio-energetic constitution, along with specific care, lifestyle and appropriate practices that will support the mind-body-spirit balance
  • Learn how to teach and create yoga classes for groups and individuals, based on their Ayurvedic constitution, age, the seasons, and state of metabolism or agni
  • Study how food affects consciousness and how to prepare simple recipes for digestion and cleansing
  • Explore and practice the teaching fundamentals of asana, ayurvedic asana, personal development, and communication
  • Most importantly this course will establish growth and transformation for all students and teachers who are interested to know more about themselves, the depth of yoga and Ayurveda, and the authentic principles that can help to maintain a healthy approach to life.
