During this retreat, you will stay in a shared room at the Pondok Pisang Bungalows. The facilities feature five stylish and comfortable rustic bungalows set in an expansive tropical garden, each with an ocean view and easy access to the private beach area.
Pondok Pisang Bungalows cater to guests from around the world seeking unique experiences whilst indulging in the comfort and humble hospitality of a family run boutique retreat.
All bungalows and the family house are equipped with a hot and cold shower, mosquito net, and a fan. The restaurant is inspired by the traditional flavors of Bali with produce and ingredients sourced locally from the surrounding area whilst the new vegetarian menu.
During this retreat, you will take six days out of your life to de-stress and immerse yourself in the practice with time for relaxing in between. You will enjoy two daily yoga sessions and one pranayama class per day.
There will be a free afternoon on Wednesday and for those who wish to go on a planned trip, this will be an option. Students must have attended Iyengar yoga classes for a minimum of two years.

The newly launched vegetarian selection is the perfect choice for the health conscious guests with sumptuous fresh juices, delicious home made salads, and Asian inspired Western dishes all featuring on the menu.
East Bali is the spiritual home of Balinese cuisine and Pondok Pisang have created a second incredibly unique menu that reflects the heritage at Pondok Pisang and the culinary tradition of the Karangasem region.
Try the authentic signature dishes such as locally prepared ikan pepes (minced spicy fish) steamed and grilled in banana leaves and the delectable sticky black rice pudding with coconut milk and banana.
