"Amazingly relaxing time in a beautiful countryside village"
Anna's cooking was simply amazing, the food was so varied and tasty, I especially loved the vegetable-ones made of local products, some of which I've never even heard of before.
Via Piana is a bit far from everything but that was exactly what I was looking for, so if you like walking a lot or have a car this is definitely the place for you. For me it was more than perfect, there are beautiful trails to discover and long hikes you can go on in the National Park.
It was a pleasure meeting Anna and her lovely dog, I will definitely come back again.

There food was great and there were lots of activities to choose from. I was lucky because I had great company that happened to also be staying they're at the same time. My favorite thing was the vineyard tour.

I very much enjoyed my stay in Via Piana, Anna was most welcoming and did all in her power to make my stay enjoyable, the accomodation was just perfect as was the food and wine! Martina the yoga and bread making teacher was lovely and I enjoyed her classes and massage! This a very nice place to relax in the beautiful Italian countryside, there are lots of things to do if you wish, or just relax and enjoy the fabulous views! The company round the table was always interesting and I met some lovely people! Highly recomended

"Very peaceful stay"
I really enjoyed my stay at Via Piana. The atmosphere created by the staff is so positive and welcoming. Everything they do is done with love and care for the guests. It's a small place and not a fancy place, but they treat the guests like friends staying and go out of their way to take care of them and fullfill all their needs. Food was delicious and healthy cooked by the owner Anna from Austria. I am so glad I picked this place, and not a big high profile establishment.
The countryside is also very bubolic, little vinyards, olivegroves and fields take turns in the surrounding. From time to time you see a flock of sheep passing by.
I was glad to have car there, as everywhere else in the countryside it's easier.
A great experience I will remember for a long time and I am sure I will be back .

"Good yoga, Good food, Good rooms, nice terras, nice people"
The yoga lessons in the morning were very good. Nice breakfast and diner on the terrace. I also liked the hike to the waterfall, but also to Pescosolido. Also all the other gasts that stayed at Anna's were so nice, this made it a special experience for me.

My stay at via piana was just beautiful. Started with a beautiful place right in nature, amazing food (Anna is cooking/baking everything by herself and uses local and super fresh ingredients) and beautiful people from in- and outside. You should definitely go there to get into that magical peaceful mood!
I will come back for sure! Especially I couldn't say goodbye to Anna :)!

Italy Country Stay
My partner and I attended the yoga retreat at Anna & Antonellos in September 2016. The location was beautiful and peaceful, the perfect setting for focusing the mind and body and practicing yoga.
Martina was a calm and instructive teacher who was especially helpful to my partner who had little experience of yoga. She helped guide us through the practice and was able to challenge the more able.
The yoga classes were a wonderful start to the day and set you up for the day's activities. During our stay we were fortunate to take part in a vegetarian cooking class, helped make home made pasta with Martina, went horse riding and of course explored the mountains around Sora. There were also afternoon yoga classes, also taken by Martina, which were a great way to unwind at the end of the day.
What helped make our stay complete was meeting like minded people and talking over the dinner table. It was interesting interacting with the other guests, as well as our hosts Anna and Antonella, and of course Martina. Everyone was relaxed and approachable which made it great for socialising, especially with a glass of home made wine!
I would recommend the yoga retreat to all: singles or couples, old or young, regardless of experience you will enjoy it!
Sometimes, a vacation turns into a truly amazing experience, where one feels less like a guest, more like family; staying with Anna & Antonello was exactly this. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like old friends, spending dinner in the dining room, along with other guests and helpers, enjoying delicious homemade vegetarian dinner and lovely red wine. We actually had car troubles on our way to the property, with our poor Mini developing an exhaust issue; Anna and Giuseppe were incredibly helpful, doing everything they could to help us have the car fixed quickly – which it was! As for the room, we had a cosy ensuite double – the bathroom was clean and spacious, with a lovely shower and a properly comfortable bed (we slept so well). The surroundings are rural, rustic and peaceful – quintessential Italian countryside, with working farmland and quiet villages. It's a wonderful place to stroll and enjoy. I'd recommend staying here in a heartbeat. Our only regret? Not staying longer!
Everything about this place is fantastic: 1) Anna and her Partner Antonello are great hosts. Anna is efficient, kind, communicative and offers many amazing activities (visit cheese maker, yoga, hikes, horseback riding, etc.) and she is a great cook
2) the location is super--overlooking a nice town, mountains with fresh air and peace and quiet, only 1.5 by bus from Rome
3) the adjacent Abruzzo National Park is stunning
4) the accommodations are very clean, updated and comfortable. We loved everything about this place and hope to return soon!
We had a great time relaxing here for a few nights. Anna was lovely and her home cooked meals were much appreciated. We had our own apartment, bathroom and kitchen. Yoga was offered everyday and we also visited the local cheese maker. Would highly recommend.
