Experience a beautiful yoga holiday with horseback riding on the edge of the Abruzzi National Park. You will be staying on an organic farm and get the chance to meet interesting like-minded people from all over the world. Enjoy many hikes in the surrounding area such as the hike to the waterfall and the castle.
At Italy Farm Stay, you can choose from different types of rooms to fit your budget and your vacation. All of the rooms have terracotta tiles, beautifully hand-painted trees and wildlife on the walls, and wood furniture with hand-carved details. Beds are new and comfortable, so you can be assured that you will have a pleasant night's sleep during your stay.
The rooms have been recently restored and are equipped with a fan in the summer and a heating unit in the colder months. They also provide AC for an additional cost of EUR 5 per day in the ensuite rooms. However, all rooms are made of limestone walls which keep them quite cool in the summer and AC is not necessary for most guests.
They are located at the foot of a beautiful mountain, so summer nights are much cooler than Rome or Naples. The larger rooms can accommodate up to four or five people. They have a crib available for families traveling with young children.
The accommodation options suit the needs of many travelers ranging from individuals to families and groups. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a touch of home to finish them off. The dormitory can accommodate five people.
Camping on the farm is also available for guests who are looking for a more affordable stay but who want to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the farm.
The agriturismo is suitable for many different types of people including families with children, couples, seniors, solo travelers, and groups. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, beautifully restored with terracotta tiles, and hand-painted wall designs, and can accommodate up to five people. They now offer units with a kitchenette at the main farm.
Heating is provided in the ensuite rooms from October 1 until April 15. It is turned on for three hours per day from 9 p. m. until 11 p. m. and from 7 to. m. until 8 a. m. If you wish to have the heater on at any other time of the year or longer hours, the cost is 0. 90 EUR per hour.
Whereas for the private rooms, the heater is connected with the fireplace of the house and when it is cold, it is on from early in the morning until late in the evening. It doesn't have any additional cost.
Camping on the farm is also available for guests who are looking for a more affordable stay but want to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the farm. You can bring your own tent and equipment or you can rent a tent, sleeping bag, and sleeping mat from them for a small fee.
The campground is in a beautiful area of the farm, close to many fruit trees and vegetables which you can pick yourself and eat for free. You will wake up each morning to a beautiful view of the mountains and the surrounding area.
Included in the camping fee is the use of a new shared indoor bathroom (the bathroom is equipped with a hot shower).
There will be one day allocated for a horseback riding trip. The horseback riding tour is hosted by a nearby ranch located approximately 20 minutes from the venue. This is an outdoor activity and is weather-dependent. In case of bad weather, it is possible to do a different activity. You can choose any activity like a cooking class, a Reiki treatment, or visiting the cheese-making shepherd.
Three massage sessions will also be arranged. Be aware that Italy Farm Stay guests have lots of activities that they do by themselves together. This is a place where you can spend time on your own or you can make friends and do things with them.
What Italy Farm Stay guests love to do on their own is the hike to the castle, the hike to the waterfall, the overnight hike, or the visit to the open market in the town of Sora. For this reason, Italy Farm Stay has not included lunch. Just to make sure that they do not include a meal that their guests do not usually take at the farm since they go out for the day.
Antonello Siragusa is the founder and host of Yoga Farm Stay. He started traveling around the world in his mid-teens and discovered a passion for yoga after traveling to India. He completed his 500 hours of TTC in 2017, after several years of being a student of yoga. Since then he has been going back to Asia in the winter months to continue to study yoga, deepen his practice and teach asana, pranayama, meditation, and yoga philosophy. Ana’s journey into Yoga and Tantra began in her early twenties with a deep call to practice. She has trained across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, completing multiple teacher trainings, including a 300-hour initiation in traditional Tantra within the Sharab Yog lineage in India. Her practice is rooted in Tantra Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Kashmir Shaivism, and the sacred texts of Yoga and Tantra. Beyond formal study, she values the wisdom gained through consistent practice, embodiment, and devotion. Ana is also a Reiki practitioner and teacher, offering energy healing sessions and attunements.
Welcome to the farm! Italy Farm Stay is an organic farm located directly between Rome and Naples, two hours from each city. This area is well connected by trains, buses, and highways and is easily accessible to guests without a car.
They are situated at the foot of a beautiful mountain in the Abruzzi National Park, close to ample hiking trails, pristine waterfalls, and beautiful lakes.
The park itself is known for its wide variety of interesting fauna including the Marsicam bear, the wolf, the lynx, the roe, the deer, the Abruzzi chamois, and the Golden Eagle. Although it's a farm in a rural area, the town of Sora (about 35,000 inhabitants) is only 40 minutes away by foot.
In Sora, you can hike to an old church and castle, visit the open-air market on Thursday mornings, eat local cuisine (such as truffles) at the many restaurants, sample real Italian gelato, and go to the numerous cafés, pubs, and shops along the lively main street. This region is a real treasure: an undiscovered gem in one of the most beautiful parts of Italy.

From Rome and all points north, you will need to take the A1 towards Naples. You will exit at Ferentino and follow the signs to Sora. From Sora, the farm is about 10 minutes by car. Italy Farm Stay will send you directions from Sora to the farm by car when you confirm your reservation.
From Naples and all points south, you will need to take the A1 towards Rome. You will exit at Cassino and follow the signs for Sora, eventually, you will exit at Sora Centro. From Sora, the farm is about 10 minutes by car. Italy Farm Stay will email you directions from Sora to the farm by car when you confirm your reservation.
From Rome and all points north, the easiest way to get to the farm from Rome is by bus (tickets cost 6.10 EUR and can be purchased at the station). The bus leaves frequently throughout the day, even on Sundays and Holidays.
To catch the bus to Sora, you must go to the Anagnina Bus Station in Rome by taking the Metro line A (the Metro takes about 25 minutes from the Termini station, Anagnina is the last stop on line A). The bus to Sora leaves from platform 10. The station in Sora is the last stop on the bus, so while you are on the bus, you can relax and not worry about missing your stop.
From Naples and all points south, there are direct, comfortable buses to Sora. They leave at pizza Garibaldi in front of Naples main station. It costs around 15 EUR. Make sure you ask the bus driver to let you know when you arrive at Sora station. To check bus schedules and buy tickets you can check these websites: BalTour or RomaMarcheLinee.
Italy Farm Stay can also organize for you a shuttle service from Rome, Naples, and other cities. By taxi, there will be a nine-people van and large buses. Do not hesitate to ask for more questions about that.
From Rome and all points north, you need to catch the train at Rome Termini station for Roccasecca, then shift for Sora. Make sure to check the train schedule for Sora before you leave Rome so you do not get stuck in Roccasecca. If you plan to arrive in Sora in the late afternoon, it's recommended for you to take the bus.
From Naples and all points south, you need to catch a train to Cassino or Roccasecca and then you can either catch a bus or a train to Sora, depending on the time. Be sure to check the train schedule in Naples so you do not get stuck in Cassino or Roccasecca.
From Pescara, you will need to catch a train to Avezzano (you may have to switch trains in Sulmona depending on the time schedule). From Avezzano, you can catch a train to Sora.
Once in Sora, you can catch a taxi. It costs 10 EUR. If the taxi person is not at the station, you can phone Italy Farm Stay and they will help you with that. There are payphones or you can ask for help at the local police station by the train/bus station. They are very helpful.
The taxi person knows exactly where Italy Farm Stay is. If you are flexible with the time of arrival, they suggest you catch the 14:20 bus from Rome. So that you can share the taxi with other guests and split the cost of 10 EUR.
