Italia Power Yoga offers a 200-hour online power yoga teacher training intensive program. The teacher training is based on Vinyasa flow Power yoga. The training will be held by experienced Registered Yoga Teachers and will give you the proper foundation to become a professional yoga teacher. Italia Power Yoga have created this online journey in a way that they can dedicate all of their time and love with students everywhere.

All you need for this training is a computer, internet, and a yoga mat.

Certifications

Students who complete their training before September 30, 2020 are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

How the training works

Italia Power Yoga have weekly check ups where you will send them videos of what you've learned that week. You can take a break from the training whenever you need and resume when you're ready. Italia Power Yoga also give daily meditation, pranayama, and yoga classes for you to practice with.

Once you've sign up, you will have access to Italia Power Yoga daily studies slide presentation where you will find daily videos of them teaching and explaining everything you need to know about yoga and you will learn three types of sequences (Hatha yoga, Power yoga Vinyasa Level 1 and 1.5).

Here you will also find your daily yoga classes and meditations. Every week you complete, you will upload on these slides a video of you teaching what you have learned that week. The way the students will upload their videos is very easy and simple to learn.

During this online journey, Italia Power Yoga are 24/7 at your service for any questions you may have. The manual, all books, and PDFs are included in the price. If your live near Florence you can come and ask them question whenever you want. All private classes are included as well wether you come to the yoga studio or live streaming calls.

Timing of sessions (GMT+2)

Live sessions will be approximately 2 hours a week depending on need of student. Italia Power Yoga also record sessions in video as well. They communicate via WhatsApp audio or written comments for feedback.

The time of live meetings will be established by the student depending on their schedule.

Course information

This course is great for those with busy schedule and can't commit to a teacher training. Completing the course online, you will have full access to daily videos that explains everything you need to know that you can play back an infinite amount of times. There's also no rush, Italia Power Yoga give you daily assignments that you can choose to do when and how you want.

This program is a 4-week complete learning experience focused on the following fields of study of:

What about physical adjustments? Italia Power Yoga do not believe in physical adjustments. Why? They belive that every students has their own time and need to learn how to feel their own body.

Instead of the teacher going to physically correct the students, Italia Power Yoga prefer to slow down the class and show everyone what not to do then explain clear how to enter the pose correctly and what to feel. It's more likely for them to remember something that they corrected themselves alone rather then the teacher coming to fix them.

This technique comes down to three things:

  • The students learns how to feel their own body and slowly understands what is right and what is wrong
  • You will avoid completely injuries or any misunderstanding when it comes to touching your students
  • The teacher becomes able to guide a class completely with correct wording which is considered to be a strong quality to have as a teacher
