You will stay in king or queen size bed room at Villa Rose, in the heart of the authentic Savoyard village of Samoëns. Set in a charming private garden in the heart of picture-perfect Samoëns, it is a boutique hotel and luxury catered villa in the contemporary Belle-Époque style. Re-imagining the traditional idea of a mountain break with bold modernity, the villa has been designed with every comfort in mind. Elegant yet intimate, the convivial atmosphere is enhanced by an impeccably personal service.

This light-filled 1900s period property is recently renovated and beautifully restored. The grand, four-storey villa offers five large, individually designed en-suite bedrooms (four king or queen bedrooms, and one suite with a king bedroom and twin room), and comfortably welcoming up to 12 guests.

The finest Italian linens and towels as well as Frette bathrobes, handpicked toiletries, and plush slippers are only a few of the many amenities that you will find in this stylish accommodation. The participants on this individual VIP retreat generally arrive looking to address certain issues in their life, from work life balance to relationship and career issues. There is a desire to feel more aligned with who they really are and the way they really want to live their life.

This retreat aims to provide you with the support, understanding, and empathy to help you feel seen and heard. Together you will look at areas which might not be working or you would like them to. There will also be an emphasis on celebrating what is working (something you rarely stop to do) and learning to be kinder and more accepting of yourself as an individual, which is key to help you transform the current situations that are not working.

Program

Private coaching sessions

Each day you will have two private coaching sessions with Michele (1 x 90 minutes and 3 x 60 minutes). The sessions will give you the opportunity to take stock of where you are right now in your life and to celebrate what is working as well as explore areas of your life you would like to change or improve.

Michele will help you to get to the bottom of what has been holding you back from creating or attracting what you really want, whether it's a more fulfilling career, a new relationship, or an improved one. She will also help you reconnect with the resourceful, confident, and positive parts of you, the parts that know that life is too short to settle and that will help you stay committed and strong on your path to follow.

To help you keep on track with any change you would like to make once you return home, you will have access to 2 follow-up Skype coaching calls with Michele (60 minutes).

Yoga and meditation

You will enjoy two morning yoga sessions to replenish and revitalize. Your sessions will be led by Yoga Alliance certified teacher, Julia Barnes (co-founder of O Yoga). Julia will adapt your sessions according to your fitness level and capability. She can make it as dynamic and invigorating as you wish, or on the other hand, you may like to enjoy something slower and more restorative.

  • Michele Willmott

    Michele Willmott is the life and relationship coach and therapist for VIP yoga and personal development retreat. Michele has lived in Samoens for 8 years and is a Co-active Professional Coach (CPCC), and fully certified through the ICF (International Coach Federation). She is also an Imago Relationship Facilitator and specializes in working with professional women who want to enhance their working life or their relationship.

  • Julia Barnes

    Julia is co-founder of the studio O Yoga in Lyon, and teaches vinyasa and prenatal yoga in Lyon and Haute-Savoie. Living in the Alps, Julia is passionate about movement, whether it’s yoga or roaming around exploring her mountain home. Julia’s approach is playful yet thoughtful, combining a creative flow with a focus on alignment and mindfulness that invites you to find space, freedom, and joy for yourselves.

This retreat will take place in Samoëns, which is located in the Giffre Valley in the French Alps. The French Alps are a beautiful and inspiring location for a weekend getaway. The fresh clean alpine air, peace, and quiet are a wonderful recipe if you would like to feel refreshed and relaxed. You may choose to completely relax, get stuck into a good book, and take a nap, or if you are feeling more energetic you may like to go on a walk along one of many of the great trails.

  • Take Exit 18, Cluses / Scionzier, and follow the D907 “Route des grandes Alpes”.

  • Turn left before Morillon, sign posted Verchaix / Samoëns.
  • At the roundabout in Verchaix, follow the signs for Samoëns.
  • Follow this road straight into Samoëns, you will find Villa Rose just after the hotel Gai Soleil on your left, before the pedestrian zone.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to Cointrin Geneva International Airport (GVA). Inspired For Life will pick you up from the airport. The pick-up is included in the price.

Cluses is 15 minutes from Samoëns and is the nearest SNCF / train station with direct trains from Lyon, Paris, Lille, and Brussels. The Eurostar connects the TGV (France's intercity high-speed rail service) in Paris and Lille.

    "Michelle is extremely open and warm and therefore created a comfortable, trusting and safe environment for everyone. She is also a very generous host making sure all our needs were catered for. I thoroughly enjoyed the yoga sessions with Tess and Michelle (there was no pressure to attend them all) and am delighted to have learnt the 'Dragon Dance'. The morning and evening sessions were very different which provided a welcome contrast.I found the group and 1:1 coaching sessions very informal and insightful. I did some great thinking during the week and came out feeling much stronger and clearer about my next steps and overall happier and more accepting of myself. There were some magical moments during the week that made me cry with laughter - I hadn't done that in a while.I must also mention the accommodation which was perfect and the food was plentiful and delicious!     "I had a very pleasant yoga holiday, from the moment Matt picked us all up at the airport. After one hour drive, we were welcomed by charming Michele who showed us our flats with ensuite bedrooms for each. The flat has a well equipped kitchen where we made ourselves tea or coffee (for free). My flat mate really enjoyed the icecrushing machine. We did not have to cook for ourselves. We had gorgeous 2 course dinners and lunches and packed lunches on the hikes which took us to some amazing scenery in the Alps.Yoga sessions in the morning and before dinner were excellent, adaptations to the asana's were shown or explained, so nobody felt excluded. We all made progress in our yogapractice. It was a trip to never forget. Thanks Annick and Michel for this inspired, well-organised trip."

    "Michele is one of the best yoga instructors I have ever met! I had done barely any yoga before I went to this retreat. My body is not very flexible and I have not had any luck finding a good yoga instructor in London even though I have shopped around.Michele was incredibly helpful and encouraged me to work at my pace even though the rest of the class was much more advanced than me since the sessions were small (5-8 people), it gave Michele the opportunity to monitor and guide everyones technique.One of the things I loved most about the yoga sessions was that Michele would start every session with an inspiring quote for the day or something profound to think about which I think incredibly added to the experience.Michele is very knowledgeable about yoga and taught us several different techniques of yoga and meditation. She would also alter the sessions according to time of the day so whereas our sessions in the morning were invigorating, the sessions in the evenings were very calming."
