Included excursions

Excursion 1: walking tour to the observation deck of Yaremche and trek to the shore of a mountain river

You will visit a very beautiful glade on one of the mountains, with a wonderful view of the entire Yaremche town. Then, you will take a walk on the shore of the mountain river Prut.

The torrents of the Prut River, which find their way through the stones, create an unforgettable show, which you can watch from a small footbridge that crosses the river. Above the river rise amazing cliffs. There are cozy pavilions on the river bank where you can eat and drink tea while enjoying the beauty of the landscape. This excursion lasts from two to three hours.

Excursion 2: bathing in a hot vat with healing herbs

Bathing in a hot vat is a surprisingly pleasant and exotic water treatment. It is related to spa treatments and is very useful for all body systems. A hot vat is a big pot in the form of the cauldron, made of steel or cast iron; it stands at the same size as the furnace, which is stoked beech or oak wood. It heats up the water to temperatures up to 42 degrees Celsius, but the ideal temperature of the water is 40 degrees Celsius.

While bathing in the vat you will forget about the stress and stimulate your cardiovascular system and kidneys. Bathing in a vat can relieve the pain of rheumatism and normalize metabolism. Doctors noticed that the regular attendance to a tank greatly reduces the risk of colds. Due to the high temperature of 42 degrees Celsius, toxins come out of the pores, the skin becomes smooth and elastic, and extra weight is welded in front.

Furthermore, the hot vat improves the nervous system, the cardiovascular system, and increases libido in both males and females. These three factors have contributed to increasing the body's potential. Bathing in the vat will not only give you a huge amount of positive feelings and physical health, but it will also cure many diseases thanks to the infusion of medicinal herbs. Benefits can be noticed after a swim and a course of several baths.

The hot vat brings a sense of inclusion to the body, which feels like a pleasant mild or severe tingling or pricking of the whole body by millions of needles. The inclusion is instantaneous and each entry into the vat increases and brings people to a state of almost complete bliss. After the hot vat, you can cool off in cold water, which is much nicer and faster than air.

Excursion 3: Probiy waterfall and souvenir market

Yaremche’s unique architecture can be admired all year round. Here, you will find many interesting churches, monasteries, and landmarks in the town; however, the town’s main attraction is the Probiy waterfall.

Probiy waterfall is certainly not the highest, as it is only eight meters or 26 feet high, but it is the most powerful and picturesque waterfall in all the Ukrainian Carpathians. It is also very popular among tourists because of its power and beauty.

Not far from the waterfall lies a well-known souvenir market, which has already become one of Yaremche’s most popular attractions. You can buy original handicrafts of local craftsmen and, at the same time, get acquainted with the distinctive Guzul culture. This excursion lasts from three to three hours and 30 minutes.

Excursion 4: walking tour of the Dovbush path and Rocks and conquest of the Makovytsya mountain

The adventure will begin from the Dovbush Path, which leads to the Dovbush Rocks. It is an awe-inspiring mound of boulders whose peak is 80 meters, 260 feet, high. It was created 70 million years ago at the bottom of a sea and it truly resembles a fictional marine creature in its fanciful shape. A mysterious cave hides in the rocks, where, legends say, a band of local bounty hunters used to hide.

The leader of these Carpathian militiamen, called oprishki in Ukranian, was Oleksa Dovbush, for whom the rocks were eventually named. This wonderful place attracts not only curious travelers, but also hikers and rock climbers.

Next, you will go up to the mountain Makovytsya, which is one of the peaks of the Ukrainian Carpathians, its height of 978 meters. If you have not climbed mountains before, do not worry, going up to mountain will not be difficult; however, this walking tour will definitely give you a lot of unforgettable moments and impressions. The tour is divided into three stages of difficulty. This walking tour lasts between two and five hours.

Excursion 5: bus tour to Huk waterfall and Bukovel ski resort

A comfortable shuttle bus will take you to one of the highest and most spectacular waterfalls, which falls from the height of 15 meters. During the tour, the guide will share a lot of interesting information about the Carpathians, especially the Gutsul's life, myths, and legends, which Ukrainian mountains are famous for.

Huk waterfall is located in a conservation area. During your stay, you will be able to contemplate the waterfall from two different observation decks, have a walk along the Zhenets stream, which forms the waterfall, and have an afternoon tea or coffee in the cozy gazebos on the river bank. Those group members who wish to, will be able to make a flight on the bungee across the Zhenets stream.

The next stop is Bukovel ski resort. You will have the opportunity to go up to the top of the mountain by the ski lift. There, from a bird's eye view, you will enjoy the unforgettable views of Carpathian mountains and landscapes.

You will also visit the Youth Lake, which was artificially created in 2013 and is now a favorite holiday destination among tourists. At the lake you can relax on a sun lounger, sunbathe, and swim in the crystal clear water. This excursion has a length between five and six hours.
