Join Inner Fire for a high quality yoga and meditation retreat at a low price and your own en-suite beach hut. During the retreat you will be a student for Inner Fire’s teacher training participants, having access to all the classes they do with already qualified and experienced teachers. You can attend as little or as much as you wish, have time to relax, wander, explore, and enjoy the delights of Gokarna and surrounding beaches, natural wonders, and temples.
The maximum participants in the group is 6.
For the retreat, your accommodation will be in en-suite beach huts. These are clean with basic amenities, double bed, and Western style toilet. Dining will be in the resort restaurant and the classes will be mainly in the open air.
Your daily schedule in this retreat is flexible but it could be something like this:
Deyna, also known as Uma, has teaching qualifications in Hatha yoga, Dru yoga, and yoga therapy. She also has experience in Sivananda, Iyengar, and Bihar yoga. Deyna has been teaching and training for 15 years in the United Kingdom and India, has written two books, and is also a qualified social worker registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
Arjuna is Indian born and is a qualified Sivananda teacher, studying at ashrams in Kerala and the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu. He specializes in chanting and will also organize the Karma yoga and local excursions
This retreat will be held at Gokarna, a temple town on the beautiful coast line of Karnataka in Southern India, where cows still wander the street and golden sand meets ocean waves. You will have your own en-suite hut adjacent to the beach plus enjoy locally sourced sattvic food. There are local shops nearby.

Two daily meals are included in the price of the retreat. The food will be vegetarian and cooked on site, and based on sattvic diet to support your yoga learning. Most Southern Indian cooking is naturally wheat and dairy free, but please ask if you have additional dietary needs.
Aside from yoga and meditation, there will be time to visit the shops and cafes, swim or laze, walk on the beach, between coves, and in the forest, have an Ayurvedic massage, visit temples, natural wonders, and a nearby ashram, or take a boat to dolphin watch. Surfing, kayaking, parasailing, and banana boats are also possible at a nearby beach. Some nights, you will have music and fires on the beach or go out into the town for festival night.
Please book your flight to arrive at Goa International Airport (GOI) or Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (BOM). Transfer from and to these airports is available upon request.
From Goa, you can hire a taxi for 35 GBP to Gokarna. The journey will take approximately three hours.
