The yoga classes are designed to deepen your connection with the body and your inner essence. You will honour the ancient yogic traditions by integrating them into the practices. The morning classes are active, some flowy and creative like a gentle vinyasa (don't expect power yoga or gym workouts) others are more a breath-based moving meditation, like tantra yoga. In the evenings we guide you to deep relaxation and inner intimacy through Yin yoga, yoga Nidra, and sound journeys.

Andriana Corfu Apartments are nestled within beautiful grounds, just a stone's throw away from the beach. It is situated in the resort of Saint George, on the South West coast of Corfu. The resort has the finest sandy beach on the island which is virtually endless, with a mix of great restaurants and family-friendly bars. Each apartment is spacious, with a modern thermostatic air conditioning unit, including bathroom, a modern kitchen, and a balcony with some selected rooms having sea views. The single room option can be a single studio with a private bathroom or a private bedroom in a 2-bedroom apartment with a shared bathroom (max. 2 people), depending on availability.

Enjoy the comfort of your own room, or share your journey with a friend you brought along, or one you make here. The premises are surrounded by beautiful nature, well-maintained gardens, little areas for creating your own space of quiet and peace, and two minute's walk from the beach.

Program

This retreat allows you to take time for yourself and gives you the space to really listen to your needs. Everything is optional. Whether the morning meditations, group activities like hiking, a boat tour, or yoga workshops and classes.

Athina and Cedric are experienced teachers and the founders of INEA YOGA School & Retreat Centre Corfu. They will guide and support you wholeheartedly with their presence and full attention. This is a week where you go for what you want! Full stop.

Level of practice

Newby? Intermediate? You are at the right place! It is all about the breath. As long as you can breathe, you can yoga. Take your time. Be present, practice mindfully, and carry on being in the moment. The aim is to be using yoga and mindfulness to empower each individual to take a more active role in their self-care and postures aren’t the only part of yoga. They use postures to get into the body, they don’t use the body to get into postures. So, no matter how advanced or beginner your posture/asana practice is, you are perfect.

It is all part of a journey and you have all been at the beginning at some point. Please don’t feel like you have to perform, you are coming to yoga to meet yourself. Not show your flexibility skills, the strength of your muscles, but instead sharpen your ability to stay with yourself, accepting where you are right now and loving each and every clumsy move along the way. Every morning you have 30 minutes guided Meditation class, just in time with the sunrise. Even if you are an absolute beginner in Meditation, this is a class where you can follow the instructions to find that beautiful peace inside.

Morning flow yoga class

This is an active yoga class inspired by Vinyasa flow elements and Anusara principles. This class mobilizes the joints, strengthens the muscles, and improves your flexibility with the stretches. This class is usually between 75 and 90 minutes, can be sweaty and dynamic, and includes a long sweet savasana relaxation in the end.

Relaxing evening yoga class

The evening class is there for you to relax and surrender. ineayoga teaches either a soft and slow Hatha class or a popular Yin yoga class. You will relax your body and mind and recharge the energy. This class is 60 minutes and focuses on soft but deep slow stretches linked to calm the mind and emotional healing.

What a wonderful way to reach a meditative state without worrying about your mind getting busy! Mantras help quieten the mind and stimulate the endocrine system in such a relaxed and joyful manner. And of course, there are plenty more reasons to sing mantras but this is not the time to bore you with making a list.

Have you tried it? Mantra singing is so much fun! Are you one of these people that lyrics aren't your thing? Well, if so then mantras are going to be your favorite kind of singing!!! You get a few commonly Sanskrit phrases, with spiritual content and you have the opportunity to repeat these Indian jewels over and over, often at different tempos until everybody has got the words and the tune (but not that it actually matters). It is a chance to enjoy just being with everyone else around you, a wonderful way to connect with the rest of the group, a playful and gentle way to help you focus your attention.

You want to dive deeper? You are at the right place. ineayoga has a lot of different workshops that they have developed over the years and offer to you for free at their retreats. They do this because they love yoga and want to share these magical teachings. During this retreat, you will be served daily healthy brunch and dinner. Yummy and healthy is what a yogi needs. Breakfast with typical Greek specialties, as well as fresh fruits, nutrient seeds, local honey, and the famous delicious nuts‘n’fruits porridge bowls. For dinner, the in-house chef will serve the best traditional Greek dishes as well as international meals and salads full of goodness – just what your body needs.
