Enjoy one week yoga program by the beach that will introduce you to local culinary culture. IndaCo Retreat Centre hosts yoga retreats and training courses, and welcomes yoga teachers, group leaders, small informal groups, and individual students. You are invited to experience a relaxing retreat in the stunning location of Sicily beachfront surrounded by many areas of pristine beauty such as Taormina and the famous Etna Volcano!
During the retreat you will be lodged in cozy eco-friendly bungalows in Mediterranean style just a few steps away from the beach. The accommodation options are on shared double and private room occupancy basis with private bathroom and an outdoor patio.
During the week, you will have the chance to enjoy one of the most beautiful Mediterranean beach on the Ionian coast, also known for the well-preserved antique ruins and its omnipresent cosmopolitan imprint. All yoga lessons will be multilevel, which means that from beginner to advanced practitioners can make the best out of the classes.
Every morning, your schedule will start with a Vinyasa yoga style practice with an active and balanced combination of Yang yoga elements and mindfulness meditation. Afternoon lessons will be dedicated on the practice of Yin yoga. Yin yoga is deep and quiet. It relaxes the mind, and helps to balance the energy generated during the Yang practice. During the Yin practice, you will learn how to canalize the attention where you need to balance the energy flow. Yin yoga also enables a non-competitive approach towards yoga and the body. It creates more space between the joints by making them elastic, firmer, and stronger.
This yoga holiday will take place in IndaCo Retreat Centre, located just 10 kilometers from Taormina, right on the shores of the Mediterranean sea on the gorgeous northeast coast of one of the most beautiful islands in the world, Sicily. The price includes a rich breakfast, a Mediterranean lunch, and a plentiful Sicilian style dinner. Despite having a lot in common with Italian cuisine, Sicilian food carries influences of all the different cultures that ruled this land over the last two millennia, making it a unique and tasteful blend of French, Arab, Greek, and Spanish flavors. The menu is based on vegetarian recipes, with vegan option in request.
IndaCo Retreat Centre is located few minutes by car from many areas of unspoiled beauty like the Alcantara Valley, the Agrò Valley, the Nebrodi Mountains, and the famous Etna Volcano. It can be the first leg of a journey including nearby and hidden villages where to discover unimaginable places and try unexpected food.
Located just 20 kilometers from Taormina are the Alcantara Gorges, one of Italy’s most spectacular natural sights. They are deep incisions in volcanic rocks and cliffs, caused by the eruptions of Mount Etna. The entire Etna Park is renowned for its verdant slopes, abundant orchards, vineyards, dramatic lava flows, and tiny picturesque towns.
About three to five kilometers from Taormina is the charming village of Castelmola, from where with just one single glance, you can get a view of the town of Taormina, the Ionian coast, and Mount Etna.
Giardini Naxos is located just few kilometers from Taormina and is the first Greek colony in Sicily. Prior to the early 1970s, Giardini Naxos was a quiet fishing village. Now, it is a tourist destination. Its attractions include beaches, the panoramic view of the bay and surrounding hills, and its small fishing port.
Savoca is a lovely fortified medieval village, the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday, breathe pure air, and enjoy the silence nowadays disappeared.
Siracusa (Syracuse) is a window into the ancient history of the Mediterranean and Europe. Its vast archaeological site, on the edge of the modern city, is a rare treasure of temples, amphitheatres, and an ancient castle. The island of Ortygia, a labyrinth of charming ancient and medieval streets, makes for a delightful holiday of sightseeing and shopping. This was a center of Greek, Byzantine, and Judaic civilization.

From the A18 Catania-Messina highway, exit at Taormina, and continue to Via Nazionale/SS114 in Letojanni for 5 kilometers.
From Catania Fontanarossa Airport (CTA), take the S.A.I.S. bus or Etna Services bus to Taormina and get off at the last stop, the terminal on Via Pirandello. From here, IndaCo Retreat Centre recommends you take a taxi, which reaches the hotel in only a few minutes.

At the Catania Fontanarossa Airport (CTA) arrival terminal take the air bus shuttle to Catania Centrale train station that departs every 30 minutes. Take the train to Letojanni.
