At Ibiza Bliss Yoga, they wanted to create a sanctuary where people can find peace through the practices of yoga and meditation. They want to spread their love of yoga and make everyone feel welcome to join from complete beginners to yoga aficionados because they believe that yoga is not so much about being good at something as it is about being good to yourself!
Villa Ponderosa is a beautiful colonial-style villa situated in the countryside, between the idyllic village of San Jose and the bustling town of San Antonio. Set among two acres of land with gardens full of orange, pomegranate, and lemon trees, you can spend your time soaking up the sun on a Balinese bed by the pool, relaxing in the jacuzzi, or enjoying a full body massage. The facilities at the retreat include a swimming pool and jacuzzi, outdoor yoga area, indoor yoga studio and gym, outdoor casita, reading balconies, lounge area, and massage tent.
Please note that every activity is completely optional though so if you want to just relax by the pool with a good book or take a walk down to the local beach, please help yourself.
Ibiza Bliss Yoga offers a free optional excursion every day for those who want to go out and explore the island.
Joanna is from Brazil but has lived and worked all over the world. Yoga has been a part of her life for over 20 years now. Professionally she has been teaching fitness and yoga classes for the last 15 years. She has taught yoga in many different countries, including India, Macau, Hong Kong, Vanuatu, and Brazil. She started her career in dance, circus, and physical education, but it was in yoga that she found her true passion and understood the meaning of living in her own body. To integrate her emotions into her practice and to listen to her body with respect and love to be present.
Sarah is originally from the UK but has lived and traveled all over the world. She first fell in love with the calming effects of yoga whilst working in the crazy, bustling city of Hong Kong. This new passion eventually led her to India to complete her 200-hour yoga training course in Goa. She has also completed sequencing and alignment training with the World Yoga Institute. She loves sharing this empowering practice with everyone and anyone who will listen! She likes to teach a playful Vinyasa flow style, which will challenge you without you even realizing it.
