Join I&I Yoga in Jamaica for a 200-hour Yoga Alliance teacher training. You will learn the skills to hold the seat of the teacher and be knowledgeable to lead a 75 to 90 minute yoga class. Students will begin teaching on the first day and will teach every day during the course. Cultural immersion is a cornerstone for this training and you will study Jamacia, her people, food, healing methods, and explore her landscape above and below water.
The maximum participants in the group is 10.
Surrounded by flowers, fruits and natural Jamaican bushes and trees, the sounds of nature will talk you out of even leaving the yard.
The whole property is yours to share. Lots of hammocks and a cozy fire pit. There is a shared kitchen outside with a full size fridge, wood burning stove, 2 gas burners, coffee maker, blender, all utensils and everything to make a large family style meal and grilling Jerk Chicken fireside.

Someone is always available to help you. Tour guides, drivers, story tellers, lovers, fire starters, bush doctors, comedians, spiritual healers, bartenders, musicians, farmers, gardeners, butlers, security, and don't forget CHEFS that will get you fresh produce from the expansive vegetable garden and bring it to your dinner table Ital style!
It's a real Jamaican Community, respectful, grateful and welcoming of tourist, although there are not very many tourists in this area.
An immersive and intensive yoga teacher training gives you the space to go deep, get confident and get certified. Learning is accelerated, confidence is amplified, and new habits are formed.
Alongside your 200-hour yoga teacher training, you can choose to combine PADI SCUBA Open Water certification for an additional charge.

Jeff is a certified and registered yoga instructor and yoga therapist with over 1,200 hours of education and clinical experience. He is a graduate of the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, has been certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and has been awarded an honorary masters degree in Anatomy and Physiology from the Open International University for Complimentary Medicine. His focus over the last four years has been the exploration of yoga’s foundational texts and the integration of ancient principles with modern science and medicine.
Pristine location close to tropical beaches and waterfalls. Away from touristy areas in a quiet retreat center.
You will have three meals prepared daily by a Jamaican chef. Vegan, vegetarian, fish, and chicken options are available.
Please book your flight to arrive at Sangster International Airport (MBJ). Transfer from and to this airport is available upon request. I&I Yoga will assist you in finding a driver or bus for approximately 80 USD each way.
