This workshop provides a fundamental theoretical understanding as well as the experiential embodiment of essential elements that can help you remain connected to your compassionate and loving nature in the midst of any situation, regardless of how challenging it appears to be.

You will learn how to stay centered and compassionate in times of conflict, how to transform reactivity and limiting patterns into conscious responses that connect you with what you value most deeply, seek the truth in transparency, self-connection, and full accountability.

This retreat will teach you how to listen for the deeper meaning in what others are communicating, even if it sounds like blame or judgment, hold space for meeting both personal needs and the needs of others in a harmonious and balanced way, and make empowered choices by remaining connected to your core values.

You will have a daily morning session from 08:30 to 13:00 with a break for breakfast from 10:45 to 11:15. The afternoon session will be held from 15:30 to 19:00. This workshop will prioritize interactive and meaningful practice, emphasizing the demonstration and usage of the non-violent communication tools that will be offered. According to the needs of the group, you will explore topics relevant to participants’ current situations.

About Hridaya Meditation

Hridaya Meditation is a practice inspired by the teachings of Ramana Maharshi. It includes the awareness of the heart center. A very simple but powerful way to detach from thoughts, and self-enquiry as a way to let go of any identification with the body, sensations, emotions, thoughts, and mind.

Yoga Practice

In Hridaya Yoga, during the practice of Hatha yoga, the physical asanas combine with advaita, the vision based on non-duality. The asanas are performed while holding the inner spiritual attitudes recommended in traditional texts of Tantra and Shaivism including Vijnana Bhairava Tantra, Spanda Karika, Shiva Sutra, among others.

They are oriented towards getting intimate inner knowledge of the physical body of its bio-energies, and of your real nature or the spiritual heart. Therefore, a contemplative attitude is necessary and indispensable.

Objectives

  • Authentically express yourself with compassion and self-responsibility
  • Listen empathically, regardless of how tragic the other person’s expression might be

  • Sharing authentically in truth and nakedness versus closing down in the face of conflict

  • Luna Cabasés Corral

    (Yoga)

Originally from Spain, Luna has been sharing the Hridaya teachings informally since she first discovered them in 2012. A profound fascination with the non-dual teachings and a burning longing to directly experience their truth led her to deepen her practice and join the Hridaya Teacher Training Course in 2014. She now teaches with the certainty that life can be lived from the heart, in full openness, and with a loving desire for all sentient beings to reveal their real nature and come into the fullness of self.
