Program

This is the path of the Spiritual Heart - Hridaya. This method is a unique integration of Advaita Vedanta, Sufism, Tantra, and Dzogchen. In the advanced stages of practice, all paths of authentic spiritual traditions meet harmoniously and merge into the same ineffable reality. You will learn a form of self-inquiry meditation inspired by the non-dual teachings of the great sage Ramana Maharshi. Hridaya Family meditation center is happy to invite you to their family meditation center, where they will take care of you during your retreat.

Their deepest aspiration is to share the ancient spiritual teachings in a loving family atmosphere. This magical and quiet place is situated in the very heart of authentic Mexico (Chiapas) at an altitude of 2200 meters above the sea. They are surrounded by forests, valleys, and mountains. The aspiration is to make this space and the retreats accessible to everyone, so they try to keep the prices for course/food/accommodation as low as possible. Thanks to the integral approach which embraces different authentic traditions (Advaita Vedanta, Sufism, Tantra, and Dzogchen) you will discover that: on the advanced stages of practice, all paths of authentic spiritual traditions meet and merge into the same ineffable reality.

Retreat location

Resting in the healing power of nature, in the heart of Mayan culture. The retreat center is situated in the forest, in the mountains of Chiapas (Mexico) which is a region of authentic Maya culture and numerous natural beauties. The house is situated just 10 to 15 minutes away by car from an ancient colonial town San Cristobal de las Casas which is famous for its beautiful historical center and for being a cultural center where traditions from all over the world meet in music, food, and art.

And at the same time before or after your retreat you may easily visit numerous treasures of Chiapas, the region which has Mayan ruins, jungle, lakes, canyon, waterfalls, ocean coasts, and more. This area has a very balanced climate: situated at an altitude of 2200 meters the temperature here is 18-25 degrees around the whole year, which makes it an ideal place for relaxation and meditation. Here, in a quiet and beautiful pine forest, they have created this small but very cozy place that is ideal for silent meditation group retreats or an individual solitary retreat.
