Botelet Farm, hidden at the end of a narrow lane amid 250 acres of rolling farmland, has been the Tamblyn family home since 1861. Its rustic rural charm invites you to slow down, fully relax, and connect with the beautiful nature that will surround you. The cottages date back to 17th century and with masses of intriguing original features such a mahogany spiral staircase, a floodlit well in the kitchen, flagstone floors, a huge granite fireplace, and a private walled garden. The charm of the venue is second to none. It has been lovingly brought into the modern age is gorgeous decor and little touches.
The yoga will take place in a Mongolian yurt within the grounds or outside is weather permits. Botelet has a small mix of eco accommodation amongst a group of historic buildings and surrounding natural landscape. A lifetime's project has preserved the old yet you will find refreshing touches of timeless modern interior design and evocative lighting, offering a unique feel deep in the countryside. Joanna (Joey) is passionate about supporting others through introduction to meditation support, mindful events and through coaching. She brings a real, down to earth, warm, non-judgmental approach to any retreat, class or event. She holds a teacher's diploma in meditation tuition and is a qualified coach but more importantly she has learned through experience. She lovingly designs and delivers every retreat and brings in local experts in the field of yoga, Ayurveda, nutrition and holistic wellbeing to ensure event ensuring you experience depth, meaning, impact and a personal touch.
Tia trained at the highly respected School of Bodywork in Exeter, gaining a distinction in the Complete Bodyworker Diploma. She has carried out additional training in deep tissue massage and Thai massage techniques, and is currently studying for a diploma in aromatherapy. Tia takes a dynamic approach to massage, tailoring treatments to the needs of the client - whether it’s carrying out intensive deep tissue work or a gentle treatment to promote relaxation. Tia is interested in understanding the individual’s unique physiology and targeting her work to promote health and wellbeing.
Level 7 certificate, the Knoff Yoga System (Yoga)
Aimee qualified as a Knoff Yoga teacher in Australia in 2009, and she now holds a Level 7 certificate through the Knoff Yoga System and continues to study with master teacher Nicky Knoff today. She gained a post graduate diploma in Yoga Therapy through Devon School of Yoga in 2012 and more recently qualified as an Ayurveda practitioner. Aimee is an exceptional teacher with expert knowledge but with a gentle, intuitive and nurturing flow to each class. She is a ROXY yoga and outdoor fitness ambassador and being creative, Aimee loves to illustrate yoga inspired art in her spare time.
This retreat will take place in Cornwall, United Kingdom. Horizon Inspired offers a great variety of nutritious, well balanced, and plentiful vegetarian meals and snacks. All dietary requirements will be catered.
A 20-minute therapeutic massage treatment is included. You can extend your massage to a full hour or an hour and a half at an additional cost.

Cornwall Airport Newquay (NQY) is about 45 minutes using a local car hire. Exeter Airport (EXT) and Bristol Airport (BRS) are also worth looking at in combination with a hire car for international travelers. From Germany, Lufthansa operates a weekly seasonal service (Saturdays, May - September) from Dusseldorf to Cornwall Airport Newquay (NQY).
Brittany Ferries operates regular car and passenger services to Plymouth (40 minutes from Botelet) from Roscoff in France and Santander in Spain.
Botelet is eight miles from Liskeard (15 minutes by taxi). Liskeard is the nearest mainline train station from London Paddington and crosses country trains run from Edinburgh, the Midlands, and Bristol.
