Roy is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher in the Viniyoga tradition. He teaches a safe, gentle, body-friendly, grounded, breath-connected, meditative, flowing, and traditional Hatha yoga. He also teaches breath-work (pranayama) and meditation and incorporates the aspects of emotional healing and balancing. For Roy, meditation is a mindfulness style, with focus on breath awareness, heart opening, body senses, emotional clearing, and connection on all levels.
Liz Gross is a certified energy therapist, a vibrational medicine practitioner, and a biopulsar reflexograph analyst. She is a graduate of EarthWalk Institute of Healing Arts in Bellevue, Washington. Liz is a gifted sound and vibration healer and teaches with Roy on retreats. Liz teaches yoga, meditation, oneness, and often does some of the cooking on the retreats. She feels very passionate about vibrational medicine and loves working with others in that way.

The retreat was an excellent opportunity to visit Sedona combined with daily yoga practice and wonderful hikes under the guidance of skilled instructors and with similarly minded participants.
Everything was great - the accommodation, the weather, and mostly the overall experience.

This week was excellent. I loved the hiking around Sedona. We started each day with Meditation and yoga practice. The accommodations were beautiful and the food was very good . Roy and Liz interacted with us and were interested in giving us a great experience. I would book with them again. Loved this week and came home relaxed and recharged. Thanks to Roy and Liz!

Getting to know the participants, and the reasons why they were attending the retreat. The accommodations were very nice, very clean and well kept. Food was very good and plentiful. Enjoyed the setting immensely. Mother nature at its best.

"Just enough yoga hiking and community time! "
The retreat center had a great flow to it with open space for chatting with others as well as large bedroom for escaping. The hikes were well planned and the yoga and meditation were a great way to start the day.
Roy and Liz were so attune to the needs of all and were able to accommodate all levels of hiking and yoga. The food was great, and the restaurant choices had great food for a good price. Each day I felt satisfied physically and mentally.

This was my first yoga retreat so I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect but I was happily surprised at how perfect this weekend turned out to be. The setting could not have been more relaxing and peaceful. The lodge is comfortable and serene, the hosts are warm and gracious (and accommodating of all skill levels) and even the food was fantastic. I will definitely be returning.
