The retreat is a combo of soaking-relaxing, body movement, and important and timely health teachings and education. Hot Springs is an awesome spot to just hang out, slow down, soak, heal, detoxify, learn, rest, and rejuvenate.
You will be staying in triple, double, or single occupancy rooms with private baths and a mineral tub, at the most beautiful, new hotel in town, Sophia Springs.
To assist your healing, they will lead daily slow-flow body movement and yoga classes, lead some prayerful meditations, and teach a daily workshop (nutrition, detoxification, healing, fermentation, holistic teeth care, cancer prevention, etc.), while still leaving time for the precious hot springs soaks (either right in tubs at Sophia or in the local springs around town). For those who want to “do” a bit more, you will also take a one-hour drive to the Bison Range.
There is also a short hike to a great view of the town and valley. You also visit a small local waterfall (a very short hike) and visit two other awesome hot springs in the area. Mostly, you will just “be”. Holman Health encourages you to leave a bit of space at the end, not having to rush off, and ideally leave sometime in your schedule Sunday night and Monday, to integrate, and settle into the new you, the next stage of your adventure. You may arrive anytime after 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
You will settle in for a short yoga class, an orientation, dinner, and of course a good hot soak.

Roy has taught since 2000 and is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher in the Viniyoga tradition. He teaches safe, gentle, body-friendly, grounded, breath-connected, prayerful, flowing, and traditional Hatha yoga. He also teaches breathwork (pranayama) and meditation and incorporates the aspects of emotional healing and balancing. Roy is less focused on Hindu gods and more interested in aligning with the Divine (God), and clearing the body temple for the Holy Spirit.
Liz Gross is a certified energy therapist, a vibrational medicine practitioner, and a biopulsar reflexograph analyst. She is a graduate of EarthWalk Institute of Healing Arts in Bellevue, Washington. Liz is a gifted sound and vibration healer and teaches with Roy on retreats. Liz teaches yoga, meditation, oneness, and often does some of the cooking on the retreats. She feels very passionate about vibrational medicine and loves working with others in that way. Here newest tool is NeurOptimal, an amazing technology for balancing or training the brain and helping clear past trauma.
This program will take place in the town of Hot Springs which is in the Flathead Indian Reservation of Sanders County in Montana, United States. Hot Springs, Montana is located in Western Montana, under one and a half hours from Missoula, the closest major airport. They “accidentally” (as in guided) discovered this little gem of a town while returning from Glacier National Park in 2021. They stopped for a quick soak and ended up staying the night. Since then, they have been back many times, so impressed with the healing properties of the mineral water and the kindness of the people.
The water is rated either first or second in the entire world. Their motto in Hot Springs is “Limp in, Leap out!” The town itself is tiny and unpretentious. People move slowly, have time to talk and connect, and are genuine. Deer are roaming the streets. Hot Springs, Montana is located in Western Montana, under one and a half hours from Missoula, the closest major airport. Hot Springs is about eight hours from Seattle.
Holman Health will be preparing daily bountiful healthy breakfast (eggs, oatmeal, granola, fruits, nuts, yogurt, coffee, tea, etc.) and a second meal (either lunch or dinner) included in the price. For those who desire a third meal, they have good news: you have a nice kitchen available, and there is a wonderful organic food co-op with a cafe that makes amazing sandwiches, soups, salads, etc. There are also a couple of good dinner spots (although, again, most dinners are included).
You will have some wonderful healing options: NeurOptimal Brain Training technology, Rapid Release (for clearing scar tissue and tight muscles), and Biopulsar readings (to see your real-time chakra and aura ratings). Extra fee for these options.
