Angelsong Retreat Center has three bed and breakfast rooms. All bathrooms are shared. The rooms have fully equipped guest kitchen, laundry room, and sitting room with DISH TV and Wi-Fi are available for guest use.

The farmhouse has five bedrooms, two bathrooms, sitting room, kitchen, laundry room, and two porches. There are enough dining chairs and tables for eight. The sitting room has a small TV. There are 13 beds. Sheets, towels, and paper products are included. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, full-size frig, pots and pans, dishes, etc.

The Bixler room

The Bixler room is in the huge addition that was added in 1995. It has a queen size bed and an eastern view.

The Hanson room

The Hanson room is named after the Norwegian immigrant who built it, sometime before the rest of the farmhouse was built in 1925. It has a queen size bed and a peek-a-boo view of Puget Sound. With the Hanson room comes the use of a sitting room, kitchen, bathroom, porch, and laundry room. There is a small TV in the sitting room.

The Joy's room

The Joy’s room is a wing that was added in the year 1960 to the 1925 farmhouse and sleeps four people. It has two sets of twin size bunk beds. The bunk beds have stairs instead of ladders for the upper bunks - a much more comfortable experience! The room has a full view of Puget Sound.

It is the only room with a private entrance and porch. With the Joy’s room comes the use of a sitting room, kitchen, bathroom, porch, and laundry room. There is a small TV in the sitting room.

Humans are very busy. You will, therefore, practice honoring your needs throughout the weekend. If you fall asleep during your meditation, perfect! Get some rest.

Practice the art of letting go and letting be. Understand how to bring compassion to your life, practice and to the aspects of yourself you hike, hate, or have worked so hard to “get rid of”. Make peace with what is and see that what you seek is already here, now!

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flights to arrive at either Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) or Bellingham International Airport (BLI). If you do not have transportation, the Bellair Airporter shuttle is the most comfortable and affordable. Stanwood is the closest pickup and dropoff place point but Burlington or Mount Vernon is also available and has an indoor terminal. Please arrange for a pick up before you travel by calling or e-mailing the retreat center.

Arrival by train

The Amtrak station is just a few miles away. It does not stop at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The train would only be a viable means for travelers who are not flying in. The closest station is Stanwood but Mount Vernon is also very accessible. Mount Vernon may have more choices since it is larger. Please call Angelsong Retreat Center for a pickup.
