During this retreat, you will be accommodated in Werganrose Farm, a beautiful and secluded farmhouse on the Gower Peninsula, South Wales which set in 35 acres of natural forest, pasture land and flower meadows with a large private lake.

The house dates back to the 17th century and boasts facilities including seven large comfortable bedrooms, four bathrooms, a relaxing lounge area, two group cooking spaces, one large yoga practice space, a spacious dining room, a sauna, hot tub and plenty of outdoor areas for you to relax and recharge.



Whatever your experience or preference, Holistic Yogi Retreat's yoga sessions and workshops can help you progress your practice and release the tension of mind and body. The retreat instructors will teach you in Hatha, Vinyasa Flow and Restorative classes, as well as a dedicated workshop where all levels can improve their technique.


You can join Holistic Yogi Retreat for a range of optional activities. Learn to get the most from plants as well as create delicious and warming seasonal food. This retreat includes a guided vegan cookery session with cook and vegan consultant Helen.

The local area offers a selection of beautiful walks and coastal views. Amina from the Holistic Yogi team will take you for a beautiful guided walk and lots of fresh sea air. There are also lots of nature walks just outside the doorstep including paths around a beautiful private lake. You can feel free to explore the natural setting.

You will also have an arts and crafts session where you can relax and make something beautiful by the log fire.

Daily schedule


  • 15:00 - 18:00 Please feel free to arrive at the farmhouse from 3 p.m. to enjoy a delicious afternoon tea and explore the house and grounds
  • 18:00 - 20:00 A healthy gorgeous buffet-style dinner, giving everyone time to get to know each other
  • 21:00 - 22:30 Join a completely relaxing Restorative yoga and meditation session, guaranteeing a beautiful, recharging night's sleep


  • 07:30 - 08:00 Help yourself to a fresh juice
  • 08:00 - 09:30 Rise and Shine Vinyasa yoga with Vanya. Start your day the right way with an invigorating blend of asana in this unique Vinyasa flow class.
  • 09:30 - 10:30 You'll have built up an appetite so enjoy a yummy breakfast buffet selection
  • 10:30 - 15:00 After breakfast join the experienced team for a choice of activities, including a fun and informative hands-on cookery workshop creating delicious vegan food to nourish yourself through the winter season. Or join a stunning guided walk taking in some of the beautiful local coastlines. After a wonderful morning of activities join the team for a super healthy and delicious lunch.
  • 15:00 - 17:00 Wanting to improve your postures and get the most from your practice? Relaxing, challenging and fun, feel amazing and see what your body can do with the help of Vanya, your supportive yogi. Alternatively, if you wish, you can just mooch around the grounds or relax by the fire. You could also book a wonderful treatment and get pampered (pre-booking required). Whatever you prefer can be accommodated.
  • 17:00 onwards Enjoy an evening meal of modern vegan cuisine. Relax by the fire or in the hot tub.


  • 08:30 - 10:30 Enjoy a delicious full vegan brekkie or fruit pancakes with a specialty tea/ coffee or juice
  • 11:00 - 12:00 A special Sunday morning Vinyasa yoga class
  • 13:00 -14:00 A healthy Sunday lunch is served
  • 15:00 - 18:00 Attend the arts workshop if you just want to relax by the fire. Feel free to enjoy mooching around, seeing the local area, getting a massage (please book in advance) or relaxing in the hot tub or sauna.

Included excursions

Holistic Yogi Retreats will take you on a beautiful coastal walk to one of the many beautiful bays on the Gower Peninsula, the first place in the UK to be officially recognised as an area of outstanding natural beauty. You will take in the fantastic views, sea air and fully unwind. Please bring suitable outdoor clothing and footwear so you can fully let go and explore.


Vanya, the wonderful yoga teacher of Holistic Yoga Retreats believes everybody should be given the opportunity to experience inner peace through yoga practice. Having trained at Santosha Yoga in Bali, Vanya teaches an authentic, non-judgemental, expressive style of vinyasa flow yoga that caters to each and every individual. Her classes will be both inspiring and rejuvenating
Helen is the vegan chef and consultant who leads the cookery sessions of Holistic Yogi Retreats. She has been teaching vegan cookery and developing recipes for ten years. Helen is also a 500-hour classical Hatha yoga and SUP yoga teacher, also leading the Hatha and SUP yoga sessions.

Retreat location

During this retreat, you will meditate and practice yoga at Werganrose Farm in Wales, UK. Just three hours from Paddington and one half hour from Bristol, all you need to do is get to Swansea and Holistic Yogi Retreats will do the rest. Werganrose Farm's grounds host a private nature reserve and access to this ten-acre site is available to the guests. The reserve is comprised of forest, a two-acre secluded pleasure lake and a wet flower meadow with many rare species including orchids.

The site is teeming with wildlife, making it an ideal destination for birdwatchers and nature lovers. Set in the middle of the Gower Peninsula, the coastal locations were designated as the UK’s first area of outstanding natural beauty back in 1956 and is a joy for walkers and beach lovers alike.

How to get there

Driving directions from Swansea City

  • Follow directions to Swansea Airport (SWS).
  • Take the road opposite the airport on the left (Black Hills).
  • Take the first right into Holistic Yogi Retreats' private grounds.
  • Follow the road until you get to the Farm House.

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 100% of the total price.
