You are invited to this early summer retreat to give yourself a break from the daily grind and to learn some tools to enable you to go back to your life with renewed vigor and enthusiasm. This retreat will offer you the chance to slow down, come into stillness, and find your way into a healthy balance between doing and receiving.
The center is a beautifully converted and refurbished house with a large purpose-built underfloor heated yoga studio, a dining room, and a library. There are 35 acres of gardens and grounds, an orchard, a small wood, and a stream. There is a mixture of single rooms, twin, and triple rooms at the retreat center. There are a few single rooms that are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis to those who prefer a single room. Wi-Fi will be turned off to enable you to benefit from a digital detox.

The yoga will be suitable for both beginners and advanced practitioners. Michelle Levi has over 20 years of practice in teaching a range of abilities.
All in all, the schedule, the venue and location, and the generous care from the team will ensure that you are safely held in a nurturing environment making way for deep relaxation, growth, and healing. There will be some silent periods to give you the freedom to truly connect with your inner landscape without worrying about others. You will explore mindfulness of eating to improve your relationship with food and enhance your digestion.
In the evenings, you will enjoy a little time to sing together. With no need for musical ability, singing is a gentle form of exercise. It works the lungs and heart, oxygenates the blood, and generates endorphins - happy hormones. You are invited to arrive from 4:30 p.m. with the first session beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Michelle Levi completed a nine-month full-time teacher training course at YogaArts, Byron Bay, Australia. She teaches classes, workshops, and retreats mostly in Devon, UK. Michelle has been influenced by a number of different styles of yoga and meditation and with her teaching, she hopes to bring more kindness, peace, and joy into your life.
The retreat will take place in South Brent, Dartmoor, England, United Kingdom. Bala Brook has been recently refurbished and upgraded to provide a clean, clear, and welcoming setting for spiritual retreats. It is set in the most stunning riverside location right on the edge of Dartmoor, South Devon. There are endless beautiful walks directly from the venue and places to swim in the sparkling brook.
You will be served daily meals included in the price. The food served will be delicious, nutritious, and especially suitable for practitioners of yoga and meditation. It will be primarily organic and locally-sourced, and people on vegan and gluten-free diets are most welcome. You will explore mindfulness of eating to improve your relationship with food and enhance your digestion.
