"A lovely experience!"
This is a very intimate yoga retreat where Rod and Sirjana welcome you into their home. We were made to feel like members of their family from the moment we arrived to the when we left. My friend and I both felt that they are possibly the most sweet and caring people we have ever met. Totally genuine people who love Yoga and doing retreats.
The yoga and meditation was all very relaxing and Rod was very informative.
The food was absolutely incredible! Sirjana made amazing meals that wouldn’t have been out of place at a restaurant or hotel.
The Nepalese facial was also fantastic and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

"Re charge your batteries"
What a superb weekend. I was quite nervous about what to expect on a personalised yoga weekend. I thought I might feel a bit intimidated, but I was very pleasantly surprised that it was quite the reverse. I felt so much at home. Ron and Srijana are the loveliest people you could ever wish to meet. I'd chatted beforehand and explained that I'd lost my motivation due to Covid and lockdown and I also had a problem with my knees. Rod tailored everything to my needs and each little thing that I had an interest in, he managed to find me quality information. The food, cooked by Srijana, was super fresh and beautifully presented. The accommodation was very clean and pleasant and was situated away from the house in a lovely little zen garden, where we were able, due to warm weather, to perform some meditation. Yoga and other practices took place in the lovely little studio. I felt totally relaxed at the end of this weekend and ready once again to face life's challenges. I would 100% recommend

"Relaxing, peaceful weekend "
Had a very peaceful, relaxing weekend. Practised gentle yoga with Rod, who is extremely knowledgable about the theory and practice of yoga. Had very tasty, wholesome Nepali food. The accommodation was neat, clean and comfortable. Srijana gave me a nice facial on the last day. Both Srijana and Rod are extremely warm and hospitable. Would definitely recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a relaxing, calming weekend.

"The best weekend of my life!"
Oh dear! What a lovely weekend! Everything was absolutely perfect: the food, the accommodation, the yoga and meditation practices. Srijana and Rod are the loveliest people I’ve met so far. They are very discreet and flexible. I was able to do what I wanted and spend some time on my own. The accommodation is very clean and pretty. Nice little touches here and there. You can feel that there was a lot of love and personalisation put into the decor. The Saturday evening meditation got me so deep, I slept like a log for 10 hours and that’s exactly what I needed to run away from busy London. On the last day, I chose facial with Srijana and it was absolutely amazing! She’s very good at it.
Overall, I can’t express how grateful I am for choosing this yoga retreat. It was way beyond my expectations! I recommend this yoga retreat a 100%.
Thank you Rod and Srijana! I will definitely see you soon again.

"Just what I needed"
After years of Pilates, I opted for an introductory weekend of Yoga (48 hours, from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon).
Rod pitched the yoga practice at a level I coped with well, taking into account my good level of fitness and balance etc., but also being sensitive to my pre-existing vulnerabilities (knees, hip), and all the while explaining the principles and philosophy underpinning the practice. The weekend included meditation sessions, also contextualised. He had prepared handouts for me to read, including one directly relevant to my profession (psychotherapy).
I loved cooking Nepali food with Srijana, who joined in one of the meditation sessions and before I left, I got an awesome head massage from her.
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my long weekend staying with them, eating with them, walking around Ipswich with them and generally being treated as one of the family.

"Wonderful Yoga retreat weekend "
From the moment I arrived I was made to feel at home and Srijana and Rod's exceptional kindness and warm hospitality ensured I had a relaxed and enjoyable weekend. I had had back problems all week so Rod tailored the Yoga classes accordingly and I was delighted that we covered new Yoga asanas and didn't just revisit the usual postures. Rod is so knowledgeable about Yoga that I learned a great deal from him. And
as for Srijana's cuisine - it's to die for! Srijana is Nepalese and her Nepalese cooking is outstanding (I'm a gluten-free, vegetarian foodie so I was in heaven all weekend!). Thank you so much for a lovely, healing weekend, Srijana and Rod.

"Fully satisfied, couldn't have wished for more"
Srijana and Rod are lovely welcoming people and really made my stay comfortable. They put lots of effort in everything they do to give their guests the best experience.
During my personalised Yoga retreat, they offered various activities as part of their program which allowed flexibility as well. I enjoyed the Yoga and meditation sessions, learning more about the Yogi world, the delicious Nepali meals incl. their preparation, the walks in the park across the studio, the facial I had and all our chats, of course.
The room I stayed in was cosy, spacious and clean and the garden is a simply beautiful spot to relax in. I can fully recommend this place and the hosts! It's a brillant and reasonably priced opportunity to escape to a different world for a weekend.
