Yoga changed Ashley’s life in 2008 after undergoing chemotherapy treatments for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. It truly united her mind, body, and soul helping her to heal and overcome hardships. She began teaching mostly Hatha and Vinyasa for both, relaxation and power and received her 200-hour certification in 2014. After moving to Costa Rica she began teaching aerial and restorative aerial yoga, Barre, Pilates, and other fitness-based classes.
Melanie calls Costa Rica her home after moving from New York City over 13 years ago. She is excited to share her love for all aspects of yoga, including physical asana practice, breath work, and meditation, with her students both in the studio and in nature. She teaches vinyasa flow, hatha and aerial yoga with a focus on alignment and strengthening. Melanie Moss is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Tiina had her first yoga experience in a hot yoga studio in 2009, over the years she explored a variety of different styles until she came across Purna Yoga in 2015 where she discovered the value of practicing alignment in the postures. Within months issues that she had experienced in her hips for decades dissolved, and in 2017 she completed her 200 hr YTT with the same studio. For Tiina, alignment is an important foundation of the practice, and the practice itself is an exploration of appreciating, connecting, and opening the body from the inside out.
