Join this retreat if you want to explore the spiritual healing science that is Reiki and apply this power to heal yourself and others. Yoga postures, breath awareness, meditation, and free time in the natural world will also be part of this program. As you let go of the tension and your busy mind, a deeper knowledge that is always present within will reveal itself.
During this retreat, you will stay at Himalayan Yoga Resort in Kathmandu. Away from the noise and air pollution of the city, the center rests above a lush vibrant valley surrounded by beautiful gardens and a nearby forest, providing the right environment for spiritual growth.
You will have three accommodation options: an eco-house with attached bathroom, a Kailash bungalow with private bathroom, and a cottage tent with common bathroom.
There are a lot of facilities at the Himalayan Yoga Resort that you can enjoy during your stay such as dining area, garden, healing chamber, library, and free Wi-Fi.
Students will get one day off a week from class. Days off are usually every Saturday, but expect changes from time to time.
Dr. Subodh Simkhada
Dr. Subodh is the resident expert. He is a certified yoga teacher and a bona fide naturopathic physician. His other notable accomplishments include advanced training on different types of massage like Ayurvedic, Shiatsu, Thai traditional, and foot reflexology, acupressure, acupuncture, and Ayurvedic panchakarma training in Kerala, India. He also holds a Reiki master degree in Nepal.
Rajkumar got his master in human consciousness and yogic science from Gurukul Kangri University, Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India. He participated in a national workshop on yoga and alternative therapies in 2014 and 2015. He also participated in a national workshop on neuropathy in Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya.
This retreat will take place in Kathmandu, Nepal. Kathmandu is the capital and largest municipality of Nepal and is the gateway to tourism in the country. It is portrayed as a beautiful valley with historical landmarks, old monasteries, art, cultural heritage, and temples.

During the retreat, you will be served daily vegetarian breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as daily herbal tea. Every guest will get a bottle of mineral water. Feel free to refill your bottle in the dining area.
The retreat strives to provide organic and vegetarian or vegan meals as much as possible, but if you have special dietary needs, please notify the staff in advance. HIYA will try to accommodate your needs as best as they can.
