Experience the transformation taking place in your system during the yoga and meditation sessions. Get rid of your physical, mental stress, and your health problems through yoga therapy, and meditation. Learn to meditate in a systematically simple way during the meditation sessions. Understand the concept of yoga, the concept of yoga therapy mindfulness yoga, and meditation during the daily practices and lectures.
%During the training course you will be accommodated at Himalayan Yoga Retreat and Ayurveda Center. You will be staying at a comfortable accommodation with a beautiful yoga hall, and air-conditioned rooms.
Generally, meditation is considered difficult especially by young and Western students because they are not used to sit for a long period of time. Meditation is a process of mind control. Therefore, with proper knowledge, it can be practiced in various physical positions such as sitting, lying standing, walking, dancing, and doing asana.
The mind can be controlled in all these physical positions using proper tools. In this retreat, Himalayan Yoga Retreat and Ayurveda Center will train you to meditate in all these different physical positions. Whichever physical position suits you, you can practice. You can choose one or more positions to meditate.
Different techniques of meditation will be taught. Meditation sessions will be held indoors at the center, in open space such as riverside, lawns, and parks, and in temples and pagodas. Here, you will be taught the following areas, both theory and practice:

On one of your retreat days, there will be a visit to lotus farm and mountain. There will be also yogic meditation walks.
Krishna Raja, master teacher in meditation and yoga has been teaching meditation for the last 20 years. He started practicing meditation and traditional Indian mindfulness yoga at the age of 8 under the guidance of his uncle. He is from a family which lives a traditional Indian life including meditation and yoga way of life. Later in his life he studied and researched the ancient scriptures of meditation, yoga, Buddhism, Hinduism and other related subjects in India, Nepal and Thailand. He started teaching meditation for people from different backgrounds.
Ms. Bhawani has traveled widely in Europe and Asia teaching yoga, Indian cooking, and Ayurveda massage therapy. An expert in cooking Indian traditional food and yogic or Satvik food, she is also specialized and expert in menopause, pregnancy, and children yoga. She is a certified yoga teacher from International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center.
