During this retreat, you will be staying at Lokasari Bungalows in a shared double room or a private room. The accommodation offers guests a tranquil, rejuvenating, home away from home experience. The room has its own bathroom and a porch overlooking the jungle. You also get free access to high-speed Wi-Fi internet. The bedroom has a spacious and comfortable twin shared bed.

Due to pandemic, borders are still closed for tourist visas. But you can join training through B211 E-visa. Himalayan Yoga Association is sponsoring the students to get this visa. It will cost you 350 USD with 2 months' stay permission and you can extend it further for 4 months more with some extension visa fees. All that the Himalayan Yoga Association required from your side are passport copies & visa fees to apply for a visa.

Yoga students will receive a certification, provided by the Himalayan Yoga Association, at the end of the course which will help them in building their career In 200-hour yoga teacher training, yoga students will learn about mantra chanting, yoga postures, pranayama (breathing practices), mudras (yoga gestures), bandhas (energy lock), yoga philosophy (yoga Darshana), meditation, Yoga Nidra, and yoga cleansing.

In the first phase, the Himalayan Yoga Association will teach everything related to teaching methodology and all the theoretical information of the systems and their application in practicing yoga for example benefits, contraindications, healthy movement, and more.

Himalayan Yoga Association has designed the curriculum in a balanced way that the students get enough time to relax. The class schedule is a blend of theory and practice of yoga which allows the yoga learners to stay energetic during the yoga classes.

All classes are mandatory only in case of an emergency or illness one can take leave with respected teacher permission. Uninformed leaves won’t be accepted and this will leave a bad impression on student monthly performance.


A high degree of self-motivation is required for all aspects of the course. The practice and especially the teaching of yoga demand a high degree of self-discipline and purity. To ensure the success of the program, participants are required to attend all spirituals activities, meditation sessions, lectures, and asana classes.

Meat, fish, eggs, black tea, coffee, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and nudity are prohibited during the course as they are counterproductive to the yoga practice. Participants who do not comply with the school rules may be dismissed from the course.

Discipline Rules for students

Smoking and alcohol are strictly prohibited in the school. If you are having a fast any day, you have to inform the kitchen manager for avoiding food waste. Always make discipline, respect teachers, and follow all rules. Always be on time, you are late means will not be permitted to join the class.

Clear your books of account before departure from the Himalayan Yoga Association. Before departure return your books, maps, or any goods which you borrowed. Himalayan Yoga Association provides accommodation for a student who joins the yoga course. So, any friends or relatives will not be included in the accommodation. Students have to be present in all scheduled programs of the Himalayan Yoga Association.
