In the main area of the center near the dining space and meditation hall, you can choose between two double rooms and three rooms for four people each. Each room has its own bathroom in the main holistic center area. There is a big beautiful eco round earth house on two floors, seven minutes walk from yoga hall with two bathrooms big common space with kitchen and three bedrooms - two of them for two people each and one bedroom for four people.

The earth house has its own beautiful garden you can sit in, take or snack your tea and enjoy. The main area has plenty space to relax like a big open shatra with hammocks, benches, and meadows.

Program

Cleansing practices in yoga

You will begin your day with a teaching of the basic cleansing procedures in yoga kriyas, Jala neti, cleaning your nose with salt water using a nety pot, extremely helpful in cases of sinusitis, and any kind of breathing problems. If the group is ready, you will continue with sutra nety, cleaning the nostrils with string and kynjal kryia or Vamana dhouty.

Hatha yoga

This class will start with a short meditation and continue with breathing exercises - different by effect and practice pranayamas, gentle opening of the body and escalating by their difficulty asanas-postures in traditional Indian teaching style, followed by meditation and yoga Nidra or deep relaxation.

Power yoga

There will be intensive class of flowing asanas connected breathing and in-between Vinyasas. This will work your body flexibility, will make it strong, and will provide intense in-depth detoxification of tissues and muscles. The class will be in the tradition of Pataby Jois. You will learn bandhas, how to lead your energy higher, some mudras-position of the hand fingers and drishty, points of concentration of eyes during the asana performance. At the end of the practice, there will be meditation and a non-guided relaxation.

Osho active meditations - Dynamic / Kundalini / Nataraj / Sacred Earth

Osho’s meditations use breathing, dancing, or shaking as a way of letting go of the needed baggage most of you carry on your shoulders due to your conditioning. They help one to feel lighter and at ease with oneself, and get in contact with the life energy within directly through the body. One then reaches a center within easier than with classical sitting meditation and a deeper quality of silence and contact with one’s self.

Osho active meditations

Meditation is not anything of the mind, it is something beyond the mind. The first step is to be playful about it. If you are playful about it, the mind cannot destroy your meditation. Otherwise, it will turn it into another ego trip; it will make you very serious.

Pranic healing classes

This is a beautiful healing method in Himalayan yogic tradition including mudras sounds and concentration on chakras in order to balance elements in your body. The first day you learn how to apply on yourself and second for the others too.

Eco holistic center of Shambanya is located near village of Banya, between Burgas and Varna, the two main cities on the Black Sea coast. From five years, Shambanya is a host of various holistic events and yoga retreats. It is seven kilometers from the deserted free of buildings natural beach of Irakly, one of the last of the kind in Bulgaria, magical and beautiful place. Surrounding of Shambanya is the beautiful outskirts of Stara Planina Mountain meeting the sea in the Cape of Emine only six kilometers away.

The staff of the retreat center of Shambanya will prepare for you two meals a day: brunch and fresh nourishing dinner. Meals will be vegetarian and prepared in the rules of Ayurveda and yogic diet, using local organic products.

You can travel to Burgas by bus or train. It is well-arranged schedule from main train / bus station in Sofia. From Burgas, you can take the bus Burgas to Varna from the main train station and get dropped off in the village of Banya, from where Himalayan Ganga Yoga Shala can pick you up.
