Have you always wanted to take a 200-hour yoga teacher training and have not had the time or ability to be away from home for any length of time? Or are you searching for a new path? Has yoga helped you through big life challenges and now you want to pay it forward and share what you have learned through your experience and help others too? This training is limited to 6 to 8 women and will be held at the Huckleberry Hill House a private oceanfront property on Graham Island, Haida Gwaii, British Columbia, Canada.
This all-inclusive package includes shared with private option accommodation at a private ocean-view property surrounded by nature. Like the ancient yogis, you will live on the edge of the world surrounded by lovely trees and wildlife.
There are many tranquil places for meditation and connection with Divine Mother Earth. Accommodation is in a lovely ocean-view home. Single beds are complete with bedding, private and quiet surrounded by beautiful nature. Give yourself the chance to drop back to nature, focus on your 200-hour yoga teacher training, and get certified in 13 days.
Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).
This HERIZEN Tm Yoga for Women Teacher Training/certification is a solid foundation that you can use to teach any style of yoga that is ideal for you. This course consists of 20 hours of pre-study assignments and 180 hours of all-inclusive onsite immersion classes. The pre-study assignments are sent as soon as you complete the registration process and are handed in during orientation on the first day.
This course is open to women with a minimum of six months to one year of yoga practice and a sincere desire to learn, grow, and from the heart offer service to your community, others, and Mother Earth. Before booking, each individual has an interview before acceptance.
Through this HERIZEN Tm Level 1: 200 Hr Van Isle Yoga Teacher Training / Certification immersion for women by women, you will have completely individualized instruction, the practice of yoga asanas, anatomy, and physiology, learn a natural simple natural meditation technique, mantras, sacred singing, chanting, kirtan, puja, universal dances of India and the world, pranayama, chakra activation, philosophy of yoga, ethics, introduction to Ayurveda with emphasis on nutrition (focusing on prana rich foods) healthy lifestyle choices, basic Sanskrit, and an abundance of yoga teacher practicum.
Activates the power centers at your adrenals, and regenerates the liver, thymus, thyroid, pineal glands, and brain, keeping them strong, healthy, and functioning at their best.
Introduction to Ayurveda with emphasis on optimal nutritional guidelines for ideal dietary practices to obtain and maintain higher energy levels and radiant health. Each day includes hands-on instruction for preparing prana, Qi, and life-force-rich foods. Instruction includes proper food combining for the best assimilation and absorption of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals to help protect and strengthen teeth, bones, organs, and every cell in the body.

During this intensive yoga teacher training for women, you will be teaching yoga days before you certify. You are in the practice of yoga and action-oriented for most of the hours with rest periods in between. Breakout groups for practice and assignments create connection with others and you will be teaching from day 1.
Valma Shakti (Brenton) is an E-RYT 500, RALC, RAP, and YACEP transformational trainer. She discovered Kundalini yoga 30 years ago while working in Chile. Within a short time, Valma noticed that the benefits of her Yoga practice raised her level of awareness, allowed her to stay focused, healthy and present in all aspects of her Being. This was important to her, as she had lost the use of her legs temporarily in the recovery of a spinal injury some years before. Valma Shakti is the lead YTT trainer and director for HERIZEN Yoga for Women and the Clarananda Natural Living Retreat.

You will be nourished lavishly by our private chef with an abundance of local fresh fruits and organic vegetables grown just for you from local organic farms. Also included are a variety of nuts, butter, avocados, sprouts, local organic farm eggs, fresh cheese, and other healthy forms of protein.
There are three vegetarian meals in the day, two light and a delicious Ayurvedic hot prana-rich vegetarian meal served in the late afternoon with a delightful dessert in the early evening.
Also in this program, you will receive interactive instruction in the preparation of Ayurvedic and ideal dietary practices. Fly with Air Canada to Sandspit Airport on Moresby Island then transport to the Aliford Ferry taking a 20-minute ferry over to the Skidegate Ferry Terminal. You will be picked up and transported to the training location at 17:30 on July 3rd. You will be transported back to the Skidegate Ferry Terminal on the last day or to your local accommodation.
