Lydia, together with Edgar, discovered Iyengar yoga 22 years ago at Manchester University. They have been teaching for 15 years and are both senior level two qualified teachers. They enjoy teaching and learning yoga. Their enthusiasm is reflected in their classes, which are lively, focused, and rejuvenating. Their teaching experience enables them to respond appropriately to the needs of individuals in each group.
Diana began practicing Iyengar yoga in 2000, and it has become an important support in her life over the years in many different ways: physically, emotionally, and socially. Inspired by her teachers, the older, and more experienced practitioners she met at conventions, Diana decided the best way of ensuring yoga continued to be a regular part of her life was to become a teacher. Diana trained with Ursula Schoonraad in South London and is qualified as an introductory teacher in 2007. She took a sabbatical to India in 2010 and furthered her practice working with some wonderful Iyengar teachers.
Indira started her yoga pilgrimage 21 years ago in London. She went back to her home country Mexico, where she played a pivotal role in establishing the Mexican Iyengar yoga community. She holds a junior intermediate three certificate and has been teaching consecutively for the past 15 years in several countries. She has also completed a three-year Iyengar yoga remedial therapy training. Her teaching style is precise, warm, and supportive, and she is dedicated to helping people reach their full potential through the practice and study of yoga.
