Helen Clare invites you to join this four-day yoga and flow running program in the North Cornish coast. Helen will guide you through a series of yoga classes that will not only give you the benefits as a runner in terms of strengthening your muscle and enhancing flexibility but will also show you how to take the yoga principles into your running. This will help you run more efficiently and safely, reducing the risk of injury, increasing the ease and the fun in your practice.
Lime House Yoga Retreat can accommodate up to 12 people in twin and double rooms. Set in lovely gardens with sea and country views, it is the perfect weekend retreat escape. The purpose-built yoga studio has underfloor heating and views over the landscaped gardens and out to sea. All rooms are twin or double sharing. Prices are per person and based on two people sharing. A long weekend of yoga and trail running on the North Cornish Coast for runners of all abilities with or without the experience of yoga. Helen will guide you through a series of yoga classes that will not only benefit you as a runner in terms of strengthening key muscle groups and enhancing flexibility and range of motion, breathing, and alignment but will also show you how to take the yoga principles into your running.
This is to help you run more efficiently and safely, reducing the risk of injury, increasing the ease, and the fun and going further and faster with longevity. Taught by Helen, the morning classes will be dynamic and energizing Vinyasa Flow. Helen will introduce the concepts of yoga flow running during these sessions and give you techniques to take into your coastal run later in the morning.
The sessions will also wake up the body and warm you up for the running workshops. The evening classes will be more restorative to stretch out tension accumulated through running, helping you to recover faster. This retreat can be a great introduction for beginners to yoga, as well as building on knowledge for those with more experience and wanting to develop a home practice to aid with running.
Helen has found that the principles she has taken from her yoga practice into her running, essentially running naturally, with proper alignment, using core strength, have helped her to run efficiently and injury free. On this weekend, you will learn how to take yoga into your running.
Helen started on the path of her yoga journey 15 years ago, when she first tried yoga as a teenager. A journey that began with yoga as only a physical practice, has developed into a deep gratitude for all the additional spiritual, emotional, and mental blessings that it brings. Having traveled the world and practiced many styles of yoga with great teachers, Helen has found a love for a flowing Vinyasa style, which makes up a large part of her personal practice alongside traditional Ashtanga.
This retreat will take place at Lime House Yoga Studio, located in Cornwall, UK. This studio is less than two miles inland, with stunning views towards Holywell Bay.
During this retreat, you will get dinner on Friday evening, three delicious healthy meals on Saturday and Sunday, and breakfast on Monday morning. Helen Clare yoga will ensure that healthy and delicious food is served during this retreat.
You can have an opportunity to go surfing or indulge in a massage session for an additional cost. Other than that, you can also visit nearby cafes and shops during your free time
