Hee Nalu Surf Camp is a perfect place where you can relax and really feel like youve gotten away from it all. The surf camp itself is a cozy, comfortable place with an amazing sea view, so you can check the swell as soon as you step onto the patio! That alone, to many, is already worth at least half the trip going there.

The outdoor dining area is also a perfect place to chill out, forget your worries and mingle with other surfers and travelers from around the world. Breakfast and dinner are provided as standard with the accommodation, but feel free to make use of the fully stocked kitchen. The rooms are hostel-style shared accommodation, but you can choose to stay in a private room if you wish. There is also a communal high-speed internet access point.

The practice of yoga has great benefits for improving surfing performance. Yoga and surfing is a perfect match, because the essential requirements for surfing are the same as for yoga: Balance, coordination, flexibility, control, strength and endurance. The yoga classes will take place in the beautiful terrace with panoramic views over the wide ocean. If it should be too uncomfortable for yoga outside, you can find enough space in the yoga room inside.

As Hee Nalu Surf Camp's yoga instructors also surf, they know exactly the importance in the symbiosis between yoga and surfing and have set appropriate priorities in their exercises. Apart from waking up in the morning, yoga before surfing is important to warm up muscles and ligaments and to soften them for the exercises in the waves. Yoga is essential to get the circulation going smoothly and to start the day fit and fully motivated.

Located on the west coast of North Africa, just across the Strait of Gibraltar from Europe, Morocco is a surfing destination with plenty of culture, exotic spicy foods, cheap prices and lots of good waves. Because Morocco sits on the edge of the Saharan Desert, offshore winds tend to blow year round, adding to the perfection of the surf.

Hee Nalu Surf Camp is located in Tamraght, The perfect location for unforgettable surfing in Morocco, a peaceful, quiet Berber village located a few kilometers south of Taghazout, 15 minutes north of Agadir city and 45 minutes away from the airport (El Massira).

"One of the best hosting experiences we ever had (even as avid travelers!). Karim and Imane are amazing people, who can teach you a lot about surfing during the day. They will do their utmost to bring you to the best spots to increase your skill level. In the evening (after a hot shower of course) you can enjoy a delicious Moroccan meal prepared by their lovely cook Fatima (ask for the chocolate dessert). After this, you can either spend the rest of the evening listening to Karim playing the guitar, watching movies on their HD TV, or relax on their beautiful balcony. After a week at their place we felt super relaxed and forgot all about work etc. Probably the best value for money stay you can find - highly recommended. Thanks a lot for the beautiful time! Looking forward to seeing you again whenever the waves are pumping again!"

"It's been the second time that I booked a flight to surf in Morocco and the second time that I spend a week all inclusive at the He'e Nalu Surf Camp. First of all, the staff is carrying and makes sure you have a comfortable stay. It only takes one or two days for you to feel like being among friends instead of staff."

"The staff is specialized in the organisation of surf trips and puts the level very high. During your trip you eyes will be amazed by the beauty of the scenery. You will be brought on the best spots for your skill and the staff do not hesitate to look for many beaches before stopping on the one where the conditions are Ideal. "

"At the end of the day you will be exhausted after having had an incredible fun in the water. During your stay you will enjoy the typical Morrocan food adapted to your diet. Big bellies don't worry there will always be more than enough for you! Finally the guesthouse was very comfortable and I couldn't believe how clean the house was despite the ambient dust carried from the desert by the wind."

"So another week spent in my favorite place in Morocco. This has to be my seventh time I spend my holiday at He'e Nalu. Imane is a great host and the whole place has chilled out atmosphere. Great food and nice staff. Kareem, the surf instructor is very professional and such a nice guy. I will return as soon as I can."

"Very clean, excellent food, and super friendly staff that will take you to the best and, if possible, most uncrowded waves in the area. I have been to Heenalu Surf camp twice and I strongly recommend it. If going to Morocco to surf, choose this place!"

"I've been surfing and travelling to find good waves for a few years and He'e Nalu, its staff and location were one of the most pleasant surprises I had in a lon, long time. Not only the location has a gorgeous view of the ocean and three good surfing spots (one being banana beach). But they deliver one of the best surf guiding and surf coaching I've had in many years. They embrace the true soul surfing spirit. "

"They will take you to surf everyday to the best spot for your level and the current swell, no matter if it is right in front or four hours drive away. They will deliver you to the best wave for your surf. Everyday."

"The owner Imane and the resident surf instructor, Kareem, are very kind and passionate about their job and with very solid background both surf and teaching wise. The owner used to compete for the Swiss surfing team and is currently active as a member of the Board of the Moroccan Surfing Association. Should you choose to have surf coaching she will be taking you out and skyrocketing your skills to never before dreamed heights."

"The place is never overcrowded as they prefer to keep their service to quality over quantity, so you'll always receive all the attention a proper surf camp should give to his guests. Transport is done by 4x4 to have access to all possible surf spots and they have quite a wide range of wet suits and boards in their quiver (from soft-tops to short boards). The off-time has plenty of good opportunities, being just enjoying a good tea on the terrace, watching surf movies or visiting the local hammam."

"Also Taghazout and Agadir are close by and should you feel curious about them they offer many options. All the meals are home cooked with fresh ingredients following typical Moroccan and some European recipes. All is cooked by the owner or Fatima, a very good cook and probably the kindest person in Morocco, and by the last day you'll wish she could cook for you everyday."

"I spent two weeks in He'e Nalu in November 2013. It is a very personal, familiar camp, that emphasizes safe and sound methods of surf teaching and coaching. Since the groups are very small, the value was very good. The surf teacher Karim did his best to help me improve my surfing. Also he was a great conversation partner. The whole team at He'e Nalu are keen in providing excellent service, food, and giving their guests a good time. The rooms were functional and clean, the common areas were tidy and cosy. We had film nights and barbecue nights. Samira's food was excellent every day. When I had some illness and injuries from surfing, the team looked after me frequently and made sure I had some herbal tea etc. It is a quiet place so if you look mainly for partying it is not for you. If you look for a great opportunity to learn the basics of surfing or advance the skills you already have while getting to know local people and the country, all for a good price, this place is a very good choice."

"I had a great time here, the people that run it are lots of fun and made my stay much more fun than other trips to Taghazout. The place is clean and spacious (but a little out of the way), it has a lovely roof terrace overlooking the sea. A very well organised set-up (unlike a lot of places in Taghazout). The dinners they cook are delicious. Can't recommend it enough!"

"I can say only big YES! It was absolutely amazing! Beautiful place, clean cozy accommodation, best food ever, very friendly and professional care. I just felt super comfortable all the time... Instructor and guide Kareem is one of the most interesting people I have ever met, with surfing and music in his blood. And very wise man! He was there for me every day from sunrise till late evenings, teaching me surfing, playing guitar, and giving me life advice... He is local dude, everybody knows him, and he knows the ocean as no one else."

"Also Imane and the other people around were super nice so I can't complain about one thing. I had an awesome time and I definitely want to come again! I recommend that to everyone, rich or poor, old or young, beginners or advanced... Can't wait to be back and stay as long as I can."

"Been twice to He'e Nalu, both times I had a great week. With collection from the airport and transfer the half hour up to Tamraght, you don't have to do any haggling once you arrive in Morocco. The apartment is spacious, clean, and airy with great views from the roof terrace. The food is traditional Moroccan, but they will cater to needs. Then the surfing begins, where He'e Nalu really come into their own. Most surf camps in Taghazout are packed, here you have safe, qualified instruction from experienced surfers who know their breaks. Imane and Karim run an organised, authentic and most of all fun place which is the only camp to stay at in Taghazout."

"I had the most awesome time! Looked after all the time and the food was just amazing. We had the best surfing coach who was really patient and knowledgeable. Back to the food, it was amazing, did I say that already?! Be careful with the sun though, I don't burn that easily and I got toasted! We went in May. The social aspect of the camp is great too, and the rooftop is lovely with a little shop a short distance if you need anything. Great holiday; wish I was back there every day, totally recommend!"

"I learnt surfing in He'e Nalu Surf camp last November and came back here recently to improve my technique. Karim, the surf teacher, has an enormous knowledge of surfing and wave reading and can adapt to any level of surfing to make you improve your skills. At the same time the house is nice and well situated, the meals are delicious. A nice café (Chez Brahim) is right in front of the ocean just a 10 minutes walk away. Agadir with its Souk and marina is close by - 30 minutes by bus, the next village is Taghazout with surf boutiques, cafés - only 15 minutes by bus or taxi. So in total a perfect place to spend a resourcing surf holiday. I highly recommend!"
