Waltham House was built in 1929 by Toby Greenall, second Baron Daresbury as a hunting lodge, it is situated in the famous Belvoir country. The house was built in the 'Arts and Crafts' style that was popularised by Edwin Lutyens and was very much in vogue at the time. The house and gardens are a classic example of the late period of the style and the house is adorned in oak paneling and wood carvings, including one of Bacchus, the Greek god of wine!

The house is now the home of Toby Corbin-Greenall, Lord Daresbury's great-grandson, and his husband and they have refreshed both the house and gardens which had been largely untouched since the 1930s until recent years, while still staying true to the original style and character of the historic house.

There are extensive gardens and grounds with gorgeous views of the Vale of Belvoir. There is a stunning terrace, tennis courts and patio area outside. Inside there are multiple reception rooms with a huge open plan kitchen living space complete with open fires throughout. The house has ten bedrooms consisting of five double rooms, two twin rooms, and three single rooms.
