Hatha Yoga World Teacher Training Centre is offering a 300-hours multi-styled residential Yoga Teacher Training Course certified by Yoga Alliance, USA. Provided is traditional Hatha Yoga with focus on adjustment and alignment. Hatha Vinyasa flow, Yin Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, ancient knowledge about philosophy and a yogic lifestyle, Pranayama (breathing techniques), anatomy, meditation, mantra chanting. You will learn this and much more from our highly qualifies teachers. The atmosphere at Hatha Yoga World is intimate with small classes and groups to bring focus to each and every student for a more personalised practice with attention on individual needs.
During the course, you will be staying at Hatha Yoga World Teacher Training Centre. The school is located in the heart of Rishikesh by the Holy River Ganges and surrounded by the majestic Himalaya mountains. Surroundings are peaceful, but walking distance away you'll find shops, cafes, restaurants, ATM, healthcare and organic stores.
Hatha Yoga World offers a clean and well maintained single or double room based on the student’s requirements. Every room has attached bathroom with western toilet and hot shower 24/7. Offered is bed sheets, pillows, bath towels, blanket. Wi-Fi is included. Filtered drinking water and tea is available 24/7. Laundry service is also available.
Students who complete their subsequent trainings are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

Each day is devoted to attend lectures gaining knowledge about philosophy, anatomy and daily you will have an hour devoted toward gaining practical experience making adjustments, either as corrections or to send a student deeper into a pose. This 300-hour yoga teacher training course is for those who would like to deepen their practice, gain knowledge about the ancient wisdom of Yoga and the principles of yogic philosophy which will help you on your spiritual journey. Pranayama is breath techniques. The word 'prana' means 'life force'. Topics covered is introduction to pranayama, benefits of pranayama and explanation of the pranic body.
You will be introduced to different pranayama exercises like:

You will learn different energy locks, preparation to perform these and benefits.
Kriyas are cleansing techniques used to purify the body. The purpose of these cleansing techniques is to keep the body strong, clean and healthy as they remove toxins and blockages in the body which makes a meditation practice more effortless since no discomfort or fatigue is a distraction for the mind.

The word Hatha, which can be broken into Ha (sun) and Tha (moon), represents the balance between the opposite forces and the balance between mind, body and spirit. Hatha yoga concentrates on physical health and mental well-being.

Hatha Vinyasa is mixture between the traditional practice of Hatha and flow. In these classes you flow from one asana to the next in coordination with the breath. The intention behind the movement and how you move is an important aspect and will leave the practitioner with a different out of body experience. The body flows and so does the prana.
Yin Yoga is the opposite of the other Yang practices which is often associated with yoga. In Yin Yoga the students is invited to stay in the pose for a long period of time to stretch the connective tissue. This form of practice is very meditative and is a great way to compliment any other form of yoga.
Anatomy classes expose the internal body and how is works with bones, joints and inner systems which effect how an asana is performed. The basic structure and function of the organs, system and how yoga effects our body is an important aspect for students to know when becoming a teacher of Yoga. Gaining knowledge about the joints and their range of motions helps students to be safe from injuries and also guide their own students in and out of an asana safely when teaching. In these classes you'll learn:

Pankaj is born and raised in the holy city of Varanasi. Over many years of sadhana and teaching experience, Pankaj has developed a deep understanding of the body. By observing the body and the potential of practitioners, Pankaj has the ability to guide students to explore their limits. After working with Western people, Pankaj has gained an understanding of the modern mind and body and how imbalances affect people. Pankaj helps students to deal with mental and physical challenges to bring clarity, balance, and freedom into their life.
With a spiritual perspective, Julie focuses on chakras, meditation, philosophy, and pranayama and leads the way to this knowledge with a warm-hearted female energy. She teaches Hatha Vinyasa which is a mixture of the best from the two styles and Yin yoga. Always paying respect to the root and true essence of yoga, she has a spiritual approach in her teachings but also covers practical topics like how to create a yoga asana sequence with a theme focus. The theme could be chakras, the five elements, etc. You will receive plenty of tools from Julie to become a confident and compassionate teacher.

To do Yoga asanas is not enough on its own, the lifestyle has to be yogic as well and then the transformation is felt. We are what we eat, it affects our mood and ways of thinking. In Yoga, it is recommended to eat a sattvic diet, which means eating food which makes you feel light and energetic. At Hatha Yoga World the meals served will be sattvic to purify the body and therefore also the mind.
We have a talented and passionate chef who will provide fresh meals cooked with love. The energy from the one cooking should be good and kind since this also affects the prana in the food.
In Ayurveda, the sister science to Yoga, it is emphasized to eat at the same time every day. With busy lifestyles, it can be difficult. At Hatha Yoga World the meals are set at specific times with regular intervals to support the natural rhythm of the body.

From the Delhi airport get a taxi to Delhi bus station from where you can get a government or private transportation to Rishikesh. Upon arrival at Rishikesh bus station, you can take a taxi or rickshaw to our school.
