Held in Rishikesh, Hatha Yoga Worlds The Art of Adjustment is a residential, adjustment-centered 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Course fully certified by Yoga Alliance, USA. Hatha Yoga World has talked to hundreds of yoga students about what they did and did not like in their training courses and has designed the program with their feedback in mind. The course includes yoga training from a registered yoga school, course material, accommodation, and food. After completing the course, students can register with Yoga Alliance as a RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) 200.

Known as the father of yoga, Patanjali wrote his famous collection of aphorisms, known collectively as the yoga sutras, roughly 2600 years ago. The 196 sutras (verses) are divided into four chapters. The first chapter describes yoga and the nature and means to achieve Samadhi. In the second chapter, Patanjali describes Kriya yoga and Ashtanga yoga (8 limbs). The third chapter focuses on siddhis, or supernatural powers. The final chapter describes the process of liberation and the reality of the transcended ego.
Patanjali laid a detailed path to enlightenment, known as the eight-limbed path or Ashtanga yoga. Due to the popularity of the Astanga style (Mysore) of Hatha yoga, this journey may also be referred to as Raja yoga.
Hatha yoga is an ancient Indian system that combines physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation with various cleansing practices. The word Hatha, which can be broken into Ha (sun) and Tha (moon), represents the balance between opposing forces or the balance between mind-body-spirit. Hatha yoga concentrates on physical health and mental well-being. Most yoga in the West is Hatha-based.
Within each sequence (series of poses), Hatha Yoga World teaches the foundations for each posture and offer modifications to lessen or heighten the difficulty of the pose. They offer a deep understanding of postural alignment and safe methods for assisting and adjusting.
Hatha Yoga World wants students to graduate as teachers who are highly confident giving instructions, performing demonstrations, and making hands-on adjustments. As such, the program focuses on providing you with opportunities to develop your skills as both a teacher and student. You will attend lectures about Yoga Philosophy and Anatomy and Physiology. In the A&P classes, they apply their teaching of body mechanics onto real bodies, allowing you to see the differences between individuals with different musculoskeletal structures. Each day, you will have an hour devoted toward gaining practical experience making adjustments, either as corrections or to send a student deeper into a pose.
Since they believe that becoming a good teacher first means becoming a good student, the first two hour yoga practice of the day is silent. The two-hour afternoon class focuses on teaching methodology, making adjustments, and is open to questions. They have frequent optional movie screenings in the evening, where you can deepen your knowledge through films about anatomy, Indian philosophy, and various metaphysical subjects. You will also benefit from weekly mentoring and guidance given individually.
You will also leave the program confident in both the theoretical and practical aspects of Patanjalis 8 Limbs of Yoga: Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises), Meditation. You will also learn about kriyas (cleansing practices), mudras (gestures or attitudes), bandhas (locks), etc.

Fresh fruit, porridge, Muesli and fresh curd ,upma (south indian delicacy) ,toast ,eggs ,butter/honey, herbal tea ,fresh juice will be served.
A buffet style lunch consisting of Delicate Indian dishes like lentils, papad ,raita (made with fresh curd),rice, chapatti along with fresh seasonal vegetables ,soups and salads .
Dinner will be similar to lunch and will be served 6 days a week .
