During this retreat, you will join a tour to Kunjapuri Temple. The Kunjapuri temple can be seen on the top of the hill from Rishikesh town. There are many local devotees, who start their new year visiting the temples to receive the blessings of Goddess. Kunjapuri Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Sati (the wife of Lord Shiva, before she took birth as Goddess Parvati). The Kunjapuri temple is located on the top of a Kunjapuri hill and is located about 27 kilometers from Rishikesh in the Tehri district of Uttarakhand, India.

Pramod Kumar Sahoo is a 200 and 500-hour registered yoga teacher with the USA Yoga Alliance. He was born in a spiritual family in 1973 in Odessa (South-East part of India). From his early childhood, he began his life full of devotion. He spent his most of his childhood life sitting alone in meditation in deep silence, going to the mountains, temples, and learning the yoga tradition.
Prashant Jakhmola
Prashant Jakhmola was born in Rishikesh, India. Since his childhood, he has been practicing yoga and meditation by the guidance of his father. He moved to Bihar School of Yoga to learn more about the systematic study of yogic science. He finished his academic studies in 2010 and started sharing his knowledge. Now, he is teaching in Rishikesh and abroad. He is excellent in the therapeutical approach of asanas.
Som Datt
Som Datt is a passionate teacher that aids students to find a meaning in their lives. For him, yoga is the best way to transform the different energies of the body into spiritual energy. He has a master in yogic science and a naturopathy diploma. He achieved a Uttarakhand gold medal for his master degree. Som Datta honors always his guru and says that his blessings satisfy all his needs. His final aim is that his students discover their real knowledge within.
Mahesh
Mahesh is considered one of the best philosophy teacher in Rishikesh. He has attained such knowledge through his devoted master as well from recognized yoga universities. He has vast experience in yoga science, pranic healing, and philosophy. Due to his capacities, he has been invited to International yoga seminars, conferences, and workshops. He knows the real yoga philosophy, accelerates the whole yoga path. Wisdom arises from both knowledge and practice.
Vikal Sajwanji
Vikal ji is a fully devoted meditation teacher. He is fully experienced in pranayama, Mudra, Bandha, Satkriya, AcroYoga, and classical mantra chanting. He has a degree in yogic science, naturopathy. His lessons are unique and make everyone to easily learn the art of pranayama and meditation. He teaches simple and powerful methods for his students. Students rapidly learn this vital art and get the confidence to share it with others. He follows traditional techniques in a modernistic way.
Mayank Uniyal
Mayank is an energetic, passionate, and energetic yoga teacher. He has 3 years of teaching experience and his aim is to transfer the right knowledge. Mayank is a master degree holder in yogic science, Diploma in Naturopathy, and completed 200-hour yoga teacher training course. He is serving as an Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha yoga, anatomy, asana alignment, and pranayama teacher in other schools as well. He firmly believes that through continuous practice of yoga with correct alignment you can know yourself in a much better way. According to him, yoga is a right balance between body, mind, and soul.
Ksenia Rasapriya Bodhi
Ksenia Rasapriya Bodhi is a certified and experienced yoga teacher, who originally is from Russia, but lives in India, Rishikesh. She started her yoga journey in 2009 and was lucky to get to know and practice yoga in different traditions, such as Sivananda yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Kriya yoga, and yoga Iyengar also from traditional Indian masters. After graduation from Moscow University of Yoga in 2014, Ksenia Ji moved to India and started her work with an RYS in Rishikesh under the guidance of more proficient teachers.
Yogi Pratap
Pratap is a charming young yoga teacher with a unique personality to teach traditional Hatha yoga in dynamic ways. Yogacharya Pratap is a dynamic personality of yoga. He has been sharing his deeper level of understanding as a professional yoga teacher for many years. He has achieved a master degree in yoga science from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University (in 2016), Haridwar. He has completed education in holistic health management from Dev Sanskriti University Hardwar in (2014) and also attended many seminars and conferences in International yoga festivals.

There are no airports in Rishikesh itself, but Dehradun Airport (DED) is just 35 kilometres from Rishikesh.

Arrival by train

The railway station nearest to Rishikesh is Haridwar. Haridwar is a major railhead and trains plying from Allahabad, Kolkata, Delhi, and so on.

Arrival by taxi

An extensive network of roads connects Rishikesh to other cities within Uttaranchal and India, such as Haridwar, Agra, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Delhi, and Nainital. Regular bus services and taxis on hire are easily available for traveling to and from Rishikesh to these places.
