Students should arrive on the 2nd because the training start on the 3rd in the morning and that night is included. The course is from 3rd till 27th but the 27th afternoon is the final ceremony so students can check out on 28th, that night is also included in the package.

Food

Hari Om Yoga Vidya School offers 3 delicious vegetarian meals per day. Vegetables are collated from local farmers of the Himalayas. As you know vegetarian food and fresh fruits are a balanced diet for yoga practice. You can have tea during your breakfast. We strive to provide you clean, testy and sattvic food which will nourish your body as well as the mind.

Please be on time for the breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you do not want to eat any day or at any time because of some reason, please send the message three hours before to the kitchen people or reception so that we can manage it. Before you come to breakfast, lunch, and dinner clean your face, hands, and feet. Before you eat, please do silence meditation for one or two minutes, which will help to calm down the emotions and bring peace to the mind, so that you can enjoy the food. Avoid talking during your eating. Keep silence inside the dining hall which is part of yoga life.

If you are sensitive to the dairy product food or glutton food, please let us know during the reservation so that we can arrange the food according to you.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by Airplane

Dehradun Airport (DED) is also an airport of Rishikesh which is only 30 minutes drive. You can book your flight from Delhi to Dehradun. Hari Om Yoga Vidya School shall be happy to send the Taxi to pick you up from Dehradun Airport and bring you to the school.

Hari Om Yoga Vidya School can arrange a Taxi from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) to the school. They will meet you at the exit gate of the airport with a piece of paper with your written name. The cost of a medium luxury air-conditioned Taxi is 80USD. The cost is also inclusive of parking, toll and taxes on the way from the airport to the school.

Arrival by Train

You can also take a train from New Delhi Train Station to Haridwar (a bigger town which is 24 kilometers from Rishikesh or 45 minutes drive). From Haridwar, Hari Om Yoga Vidya School can provide you a transfer by car to Rishikesh. The cost for a medium air-conditioned car is 30USD, in INR 2100. The cost is inclusive of parking, toll, and taxes on the way to the school.

Arrival by Bus

Being a popular tourist destination, Rishikesh has a good network of buses connecting it with important places such as Haridwar, Dehradun, and New Delhi. Buses depart in the morning and late evening from the Kashmere Gate ISBT, New Delhi for Rishikesh every day. You can choose from a regular, deluxe, or a luxurious coach.

Arrival by Taxi

Taking a taxi up to Rishikesh is worth considering, as it is connected to other cities via the National Highway 58, which is in good condition for most of the year. The drive from Delhi to Rishikesh would take approximately six to seven hours. The approximate fare from New Delhi is 80 USD and from Dehradun is 30 USD.
