Welcome to Hari Om Yoga Vidya School 200 hour Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh where the group is small and the love is huge. Experience yoga as it is, transform yourself and in the way, make your first steps as a yoga teacher. Hari Om Yoga Vidya School is a warm and small yoga school in the heart of Rishikesh, India. Tradition and coziness are the things that they value the most. Hari Om Yoga Vidya School offers accommodation of excellent quality, assuring that you will have a pleasant and comfortable stay. During your yoga teacher training, you will be staying at a beautiful secluded yoga retreat center situated in Rishikesh. They offer single rooms for those who enjoy private and double shared rooms for couples, friends, or friends to be. All rooms have an individual bathroom, Wi-Fi, hot shower, air-conditioner, and beautiful views of the Himalayan mountains or the village. The school campus is surrounded by a natural green campus. This 200-hour Hatha and Vinyasa yoga teacher training in Rishikesh provides you the knowledge of the ancient traditional yoga teachings of the Himalayan tradition.
Hatha yoga is a fundamental base to build upon for any other type of yoga, therefore you will experience the energy of meditative asanas of Hatha yoga and the flow of Ashtanga Vinyasa in the same course.
As the school motto says: Yoga goes beyond postures, so the training complements asanas with a philosophical understanding and meditation to really embrace yoga as it is. The aim is that you can share the message of love developed through yoga in a class, to your family and friends, or just for you! After this experience, you will discover that the art of living is meaningful, blissful, and joyful.
This schedule can be changed and will vary from week to week.
The first week is the most difficult of all as your mind and body experience an abrupt change. It is also the most exciting as the Yoga universe is displayed in its true form for the first time to many. This week is all about learning the basics of each discipline.
After an intense week, your body is getting used to the course. The practice will grow, and you will start to feel more confident. It will be time to realize what you have learned.
By now you have gone through a lot! Strong feelings emanate as you go deeper and deeper into your practice. You will continue building on what you have learned, and the course will introduce teaching techniques more formally.

By now, yoga is flowing through your veins. Week 4 is about integrating everything you have learned so far, applying it to your daily life, and being able to share it with the world.
You will enjoy three different excursions on Rishikesh which may include Ganga Arti, visiting temples and enjoying the sunrise in the Himalayan view, or others.
Pramod Kumar Sahoo is a 200 and 500-hour registered yoga teacher with the USA Yoga Alliance. He was born in a spiritual family in 1973 in Odessa (South-East part of India). From his early childhood, he began his life full of devotion. He spent most of his childhood life sitting alone in meditation in deep silence, going to the mountains, temples, and learning the yoga tradition.
Som Datt is a passionate teacher that aids students to find a meaning in their lives. For him, yoga is the best way to transform the different energies of the body into spiritual energy. He has a master in yogic science and a naturopathy diploma. He achieved a Uttarakhand gold medal for his master degree. Som Datta honors always his guru and says that his blessings satisfy all his needs. His final aim is that his students discover their real knowledge within.
Mahesh is considered one of the best philosophy teachers in Rishikesh. He has attained such knowledge through his devoted master as well from recognized yoga universities. He has vast experience in yoga science, pranic healing, and philosophy. Due to his capacities, he has been invited to international yoga seminars, conferences, and workshops. He knows the real yoga philosophy, accelerates the whole yoga path. Wisdom arises from both knowledge and practice.
Vikal ji is a fully devoted meditation teacher. He is fully experienced in pranayama, Mudra, Bandha, Satkriya, AcroYoga, and classical mantra chanting. He has a degree in yogic science, naturopathy. His lessons are unique and make everyone to easily learn the art of pranayama and meditation. He teaches simple and powerful methods for his students. Students rapidly learn this vital art and get the confidence to share it with others. He follows traditional techniques in a modernistic way.
Swami Atmatatwananda Saraswati was born in 1952 in the state of Odisha, India. From his childhood, he had a keen interest in spiritual life. He began his career as a science teacher. At the age of 28, he left his worldly life and joined the world-famous master Paramahansa Swami Satyananda Saraswati in Munger, Bihar. After six years with his master, he traveled to India and Nepal conducting yoga camps for two years. After four years in Odisha, he then moved to Rishikesh, the holy city on the foothill of Himalaya and holy river Ganges.
Mayank is an energetic, passionate, and energetic yoga teacher. He has 3 years of teaching experience and his aim is to transfer the right knowledge. Mayank is a master degree holder in yogic science, Diploma in Naturopathy, and completed 200-hour yoga teacher training course. He is serving as an Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha yoga, anatomy, asana alignment, and pranayama teacher in other schools as well. He firmly believes that through continuous practice of yoga with correct alignment you can know yourself in a much better way. According to him, yoga is a right balance between body, mind, and soul.
Yogi Acharya Mandeep has always had a strong connection with Yoga. He started his studies of yoga and Sanskrit in 2003 until today. He has learned and taught various aspects of yoga such as Kundalini, meditation, mantra chanting, and Bhakti yoga. Acharya knows how to play almost every Indian instrument which makes his classes carry a unique rhythm. His incredible knowledge and music skills will lead you to the very heart of Bhakti Yoga. His deep knowledge of ceremonies and Sanskrit will help you to understand reality. His wisdom and patience will show you the way of Kundalini yoga.
Poojaji belongs from Rishikesh, India. She has been pursuing her Bsc final year in Yoga Science and Holistic Health from SRHU ( Swami Ram Himalayan University). She is Registered Yoga Teacher(RYT) of 500-hours. She is not only an incredible Yoga student but also a good teacher. She is holding 6 years of Ashram living experience of Himalayan Yoga and meditation Tradition. She is very conscious of her work and has space for yoga that is strong, truthful and focused. Yogi Devendra was born in the spiritual location of Rishikesh as part of his love for yoga he attained a Masters's degree from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University. He is a widely recognized yoga teacher among Rishikesh who has been teaching Ashtanga Yoga in various academies. He has a very clear approach to teaching and loves the primary and secondary series of Ashtanga Vinyasa. Expect his classes to be full of energy, enthusiasm, and strength.

Having 6+ years of teaching experience in Nath Yog Tradition focusing on Hatha Yog, Kundalini, Pranayama, and Yog Therapy covering the traditional and modern dimensions of the yogic science and the philosophy behind it.
Rohit was born in Rishikesh where he studied the Yoga sciences in two different universities. He has been teaching Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa for years in Rishikesh and Vietnam. For him, Yoga is a platform to get true knowledge about oneself and teaches it with a great spirit and passion.
Arti is a passionate yoga teacher that has a master's degree in Yogic Science. She loves to teach Hatha Yoga and Pranayam. Her aim is to spread Yoga's real knowledge and its benefits. Jolly Grant Airport (DED) is an airport in Rishikesh which is only 40-minute drive to reach the school. You can book your flight from Delhi to Dehradun. Hari Om Yoga Vidya School shall be happy to send transportation to pick you up freely from Jolly Grant Airport (DED) and bring you to the school. Hari Om Yoga Vidya School can arrange transportation from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) to the school. They will meet you at the exit gate of the airport. The cost of transportation is 95 USD.
Being a popular tourist destination, Rishikesh has a good network of buses connecting it with important places such as Haridwar, Dehradun, and New Delhi. Buses depart in the morning and late evening from the Kashmere Gate ISBT, New Delhi for Rishikesh every day. You can choose from a regular, deluxe, or luxurious coach.
You can also take a train from New Delhi train station to Haridwar (a bigger town which is 32 kilometers from Hari Om Yoga Vidya School Rishikesh or 45 minutes drive). From Haridwar, the School can provide you a transfer by car to Rishikesh for 30 USD.
Taking a taxi up to Rishikesh is worth considering as it is connected to other cities via the National Highway 58, which is in good condition for most of the year. The drive from Delhi to Rishikesh would take approximately six to seven hours. The approximate fare from New Delhi is 95 USD and from Dehradun is 50 USD.
