If you are looking for a yoga retreat which is a coming together of women from all different places in life, this 4-day retreat in New South Wales, Australia, will be perfect for you. With the common thread being, you will work to get to know yourselves better. Through yoga, meditation, healthy meals, and other energizing activities, this retreat will be the perfect time to discover and celebrate your strength as a woman!
On this retreat, you will be staying in the beautiful beachside bungalows of Tallow Beach Houses. Each bungalow will be occupied by three or four people and have its own bathroom, kitchen, lounge or dining area, and a small veranda. If you would like some more space to yourself, there will be also an option of having your own room. You may also book the bungalow all by yourself If you would like your family to join you.
On this retreat, you will be meeting each morning for a yoga practice where you will learn to move in a way that fuels you, rather than depleting. The movements will fill you up, energize you, and leave you wanting more. After the practice, you will enjoy a healthy cleansing breakfast together.
Each evening, you will meet again to learn the art of meditation, breathing, and rituals which will ground you in your everyday life. There will be times of chanting, sound healing, and women’s circles. Afterward, you will meet again for a healthful and wholesome dinner.
On Friday, you will meet for a Raw Food Workshop and enjoy the ‘fruits’ of your time together for lunch. You will receive an e-book with all recipes from this workshop so you may continue creating when you leave. There will be times to sit in nature and contemplate, as well as times to commune and laugh together.
During the retreat, there will be moments spent in nature with the option to do a waterfall walk aimed at cleansing and renewing.
Alicia has been sharing her love of yoga and health for over 12 years. As a teacher, she aims to share the art of balancing strength and stillness in this busy world in which we live. With a background in fitness, she has an emphasis on strength, which allows her students to feel empowered. Each session is also intertwined with messages of mindfulness. She runs retreats and workshops across Australia and the world, holds regular classes on the Gold Coast, and is a committed Ashtanga practitioner.
